Do you have a box of Beanie Babies stored somewhere in your closet? I am collecting BEANIE BABIES for our Tuesday afternoon BINGO sessions. The Residents love to win them as prizes, exchange them with each other or give them away to their grandchildren. If you have ANY you’d like to donate, please let me know. Cindy Reid brought some of her farm animals for our Residents to enjoy today. It was a perfect afternoon to sit outside and pet/hold a rabbit, a chicken, a Guinea pig, and pet a goat named Sonic! Thank you so much Cindy for such a fun afternoon!!

We had the privilege of having Captain Chase Bradberry of Camp Shelby as our Veterans Day Speaker today. Captain Bradberry did a wonderful job reminding us of the importance of this day! Our Residents really enjoyed hearing his words of history and hope for the future. On a personal note, I was very impressed with his ability to connect with our folks. Well done, Sir and thank you for your SERVICE!
Note: In case you were wondering, Captain Bradberry was unable to attend in military uniform because of the present Government shutdown. Now you know. 🙃
