What a great weekend at Spring Fling networking with other family physicians in our state, learning from guest speakers, and practicing procedures!

We are so excited for our residents Dr. Jacobson (PGY-2) and Dr. Windham (PGY-1) who have been elected as MAFP Board Members for the upcoming year.

We are also very proud of Dr. Thompson (PGY-2, 3rd place overall finalist) and Dr. Pride (PGY-2) who presented their case presentations and posters!

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 Today marks the launch of our very first Healthcare Career Exploration Event at Hattiesburg High School! 🎉

FGH is thrilled to introduce high school students from our region to the diverse and rewarding careers available within Forrest Health. 💼✨

Throughout the event, students will rotate through various “career stations,” each representing different departments within our organization. They’ll get a firsthand look at job responsibilities, educational pathways, and—most importantly—the chance to discover how they can grow and thrive in their own community! 🌍❤️

Our goal is to make this day both educational and fun, showing students that Forrest Health isn’t just a place to work—it’s a place to build a meaningful career. 🏥🌱
