This holiday season, we are reflecting on our roots and the ideals on which Hattiesburg Clinic was founded.

The late Dawson B. Conerly, Jr., MD, a founding physician of Hattiesburg Clinic stated “Our philosophy in starting Hattiesburg Clinic follows a quote I once heard from a fellow doctor. ‘We don’t treat the illness that the patient has; we treat the patient who has the illness.’”

Today, Hattiesburg Clinic remains committed to these ideals and the vision of our founders as we continue to provide high-quality, patient-centered health care for hundreds of thousands of individuals who live and work in Mississippi every day.
