Stephanie from Carroll St home in NWLA had a truly special moment recently! While driving back from a medical appointment with support professional, Angelita Hudson, they talked about Angelita’s family and her husband’s work with the Shreveport Police Department Mounted Patrol. Stephanie’s face lit up when Angelita suggested a surprise visit to meet Rock, her husband’s horse. While Stephanie saw the other horses, Rock seemed to have a special connection with her. 🐴✨

🌟 Back in May, our NWLA team proudly recognized Angelita Hudson and Robert “Redd” Perry as their Employees of the Year!

🔧 Robert “Redd” Perry is known for always seeming to be everywhere at once. No matter the task, Redd approaches his work with a positive attitude and a willingness to help. He never complains, never seems to have a bad day, and is truly a pleasure to work with. To our team, he’s much more than a maintenance man. He’s someone we can always count on.

💚 Angelita Hudson is deeply admired for the love and dedication she shows every day to her family, her Evergreen family, and the individuals she supports. Whether she’s teaching classes, stepping in to work shifts when needed, or lifting up those around her, Angelita consistently gives her all. Her passion and commitment make a lasting impact, and it’s clear how loved and respected she is by everyone here.

We were honored to welcome Dario Scalco, MPA, the new Executive Director of the Community Provider Association of Louisiana (CPAL), to our corporate office in Haughton, LA yesterday.

CPAL is Louisiana’s leading trade association for disability service organizations, dedicated to securing public funding and advancing initiatives through advocacy, collaboration, and education. Our executive leadership team enjoyed connecting with him about the exciting work ahead.
