A few spots remain for tomorrow's FREE seminar for parents and caregivers to neurodivergent children. Join us from 12:00pm - 1:00pm EST either virtually or in-person at our Center City office at 1420 Walnut Street, Suite 1301.

TOPIC: Cracking the Code: Helping Teens & Tweens Navigate Unstructured Social Settings by “Minding the G.A.P.”
DESCRIPTION: Children with Autism and ADHD often report that unstructured times like lunch, recess, transitions between activities, and waiting periods to be anxiety-provoking and socially challenging. They may feel shy or anxious and withdraw, fumble awkwardly, or behave impulsively and sometimes annoy others or get in trouble. It's HARD to engage in the neurotypical world with all its unwritten expectations, relaxed rules, and less adult supervision and guidance. The solution? Let’s reframe these gaps in structure as social opportunities to Get Attention Positively (GAP Time). We will form a plan of action with a set of behavior guidelines and use play and conversation skills to make positive social connections.

Spots remain for tomorrow's FREE, VIRTUAL seminar for parents and caretakers of neurodivergent children, from 12:00pm - 1:00pm EST! The topic is "Conversation Skills for Neurodivergent Youth".

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Why is reciprocal conversation often tricky for neurodivergent tweens and teens—and how can they build confidence in joining social interactions? In this practical webinar, you will learn how core conversation skills like initiating with question words, using “universal conversation bouncers”, and navigating back-and-forth dialogue can be taught using simple, effective “rules of engagement.” With the right conversation lessons and reinforcement, your child can grow more comfortable connecting with peers, feel more included, and experience greater success in everyday social moments. These are skills they can learn—and thrive with.
