We often discuss how amazing our residents and families are. It was evident with the amount of family and friends we have had celebrating the holidays with us. Thank you to everyone who has attended the celebrations over the last few days. Our team is so thankful for you all!

We always look forward to this time of year because we get to display the amazing carvings by our own Stan Williams. He has carved these gorgeous Santa pieces for years for his wife Eleanor and his daughters. This yearly tradition is highly anticipated by residents, families and associates. We are so grateful Stan and Eleanor share these treasures with our community.

Wingate Living recently held an employee recognition ceremony at Gillette Stadium, home of the NFL’s New England Patriots, to honor those who have been with the company for more than 10 years.

The residents in The Neighborhood are getting in the holiday spirit. They recently visited the Mall at Rockingham Park to do some shopping and stopped for some festive photos.

This time of year we have so many things to be thankful for. We are thankful for our residents, families and associates. Thank you to all who donated to the Haverhill Food Pantry. Our latest recipient of The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Jeannie Kelley Ohnemus. Jeannie grew up in Brookline and attended BU where she met her husband Cliff. They welcomed 5 daughters and raised their family in Wellesley. Jeannie always had a love of flying and earned her pilot license. She flew commercial, instrument and multi-engine ratings as well as Sea Planes. The FAA awarded her with the Wright Brothers “Master Pilot” award for 50 accident free years. She has traveled extensively where she has parasailed, heli-hiked the Bugaboos in British Columbia and completed a tandem parachute jump at the age of 88. Jeannie often says her greatest accomplishment is her 5 daughters, 3 son-in-laws, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. We are honored that Jeannie calls Wingate Residences at Haverhill home and are so fortunate to have so many amazing residents!
