On Friday, October 24th the Bethany team came together to participate in the Power of Pink, our annual day to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. This year included a bake sale to raise funds for a donation to the Ellie Fund, and an Honor Walk where residents and staff who are breast cancer survivors walked a pink carpet joined by others who held signs in honor of women in their lives who fought the disease. It was an exceptional display of our team members and residents demonstrating support for each other and this worthy cause!

Join us on Saturday, September 27 at the Haverhill Art Walk! Resident artwork will be on display at our pop-up art gallery located at 10 Phoenix Row from 3:00 - 5:00PM. Featuring residents' independent creations and those completed through our Arts & Culture programming, generously supported by the Li-Qiu Family Foundation. We hope to see you there!

At the L'Arche Boston NorthThe Longest Table event last night, our Chef Manager, Kristen Carbone and dining services team members Cam and Steve, put together an amazing meal and represented Bethany Communities at this sold-out event which supports adults with intellectual challenges. We were delighted to be part of this incredible evening and thank everyone who participated!

It was a celebration of summer today at the annual cook-out at Phoenix Row! Bethany team members served up a variety of traditional backyard bbq treats to residents and guests. Everyone agreed it was a taste of the good old days! Thanks to Matt for coming in during his vacation week to man the grill!!

The seniors who participate in Cafe Connections were delighted to donate proceeds from their recent Summer Carnival fundraiser to support young readers in Haverhill and encourage a lifelong love of reading!
