I am challenging myself to swim a mile everyday until I leave for PSU to help Livie. Penn State is home to the largest run student philanthropy in the world, where the students fight against childhood cancer in a yearlong fundraising effort that culminates in a 46 hour no sitting, no sleeping, dance marathon. This is Olivia’s fourth year involved in THON, and she was selected to be a Dancer Relations Captain to take on a huge responsibility in leading a committee and ensuring the physical and emotional safety of the dancers. This year, THON starts on February 21, 2025, and I would like to do my part and help raise awareness. I’ve swam 7 miles so far this month and have 14 more days to go.
