Why I Started Hometown Wellness for Our Community
For years, I chased answers—knowing something wasn’t right in my body. After being told “everything looks normal” over and over again, I started to believe maybe what I was feeling was normal. However, when things escalated I sought help again, only to hear phrases like:
“Sometimes female health just sucks.”
“If you’re not going to take birth control, I can’t help you.”
I felt the same disappointment I had felt so many times before.
After being dismissed by four doctors, I did the work and poured everything into researching exactly what I needed to ask and how to advocate for myself. When I made one final attempt with a new provider, I walked in knowledgeable and prepared. Finally—I was heard. My surgery was scheduled within weeks for two conditions I had silently lived with for years: endometriosis and adenomyosis.
That’s where my passion for wellness took root. I enrolled in school to become a certified Integrative Health Practitioner. I knew it was the right next step—not just for my self, or for my family’s health, but for the countless women in my community walking the same road I had.
I’m honored to support women who feel like they’ve run out of options—who are exhausted, stretched thin, and ready for better answers.
I started Hometown Wellness to create the kind of care I wished I had sooner:
A space where root cause matters, wellness feels possible again, and you’re seen as a whole person—not a time slot on the calendar.
Most importantly, a place where questions about your own health are welcomed, not shamed.
The care I offer is complementary to the traditional medical system. I don’t replace your doctor—but I help fill in the gaps and do the investigative work you may feel is missing, so you can confidently advocate for your health.
That’s why I opened the doors to Hometown Wellness:
To offer what I once needed.
To serve those who feel overlooked.
And to bring real, personalized care back to our community.
