When I was 20 years old, really just a baby but I thought I knew it all.

Winter came and swooped me and Jennifer up and drove us to auntie Gail’s where the family was waiting.

That’s where we found out that my mom was no longer on this earth.

My whole entire world shattered in one single moment.

I had just barely realized that the curfews, the push to graduate high school, all the rules imposed on me came because she cared, not because she wanted to “ruin my life” as my teenage self had thought.

Now she’s gone?!
How can this be real?
Trust in everything shattered in that moment.

I’ll never forget how it felt to walk into the gas station the next day watching people live their lives like it was just a regular Tuesday. Didn’t they know?

I spent the next 15 years chasing highs in the form or alcohol, m**h, reckless behavior. I didn’t feel whole inside, I had built a heart wall of all heart walls, protecting myself from ever feeling som**hing like that again. You wouldn’t know though, I was real good at pretending everything was ok.

When I started to put in work on healing my human, feeling the hurts, peeling back layers, it got real hard before it got easier. But I never gave up.

I took time off, I went in deep, I cried, I journaled, I tried many different healing modalities over many years.
I never gave up.

Today I sit here, sober for just over 4 years, loving every single part of my life. Even the hard stuff, even the messy stuff. I feel the feels, I let it all in. I share. I communicate. I come back to neautrality. I don’t make feelings mean anything aboht me.
I move from that space.

So I when I tell you that there is a better way, even for you, I promise you, it’s true.

From a new client 💖💖💖

“I started PT a few days after my first session with you, because of so much chronic unexplained body pain, the constant headaches/migraines, chronic fatigue... all of it a mystery for years. PT was the only thing my doctor could throw at me to try next.

But now all of that pain is essentially gone since adding that extra layer of protection. So now I don't even really need PT and am getting discharged soon! “

And guess what? I got discharged from PT today! No pain! And I stopped a migraine in its tracks today too! “

The really cool thing about this is we haven’t gone in specifically for pain.

We started with anger release, allowing the body to let go of the tension that had been tucked away years ago, all the times in youth that this human was encouraged to be the “good, quiet kid”.

All the times that the voice was silenced.

All of those stories sat in the body causing pain.

That’s the coolest thing about the work I do. We don’t have to know exactly what we’re going in for, the body will tell you.

His museum burned to the ground.
People called him delusional.
They laughed at the size of his vision.

And he still rebuilt.

That’s Main Character Energy.

Not because it’s flashy.
Not because it’s loud.
But because it refuses to die when things fall apart.
