I’m seeing more patients choosing pop-ups and “injector parties” because the prices are cheaper—often without understanding the risks, lack of regulation, or what it means to have medical procedures done outside a proper clinical setting.

Recently, I’ve treated multiple patients who had high-risk areas injected in non-medical environments. These procedures require advanced anatomical training and immediate emergency readiness. And this isn’t about credentials alone—MD, NP, PA, or RN titles don’t guarantee proper aesthetic or complication-management training. Expertise is earned.

Ask yourself:
Could an injector handle an emergency in a living room?
Would they have sterile technique, proper equipment, or malpractice coverage?
No.

Over the past year, I’ve corrected numerous complications from pop-up treatments, often by providers patients couldn’t reach afterward. What started as a “deal” became far more costly—medically, emotionally, and financially.

Our industry is flooded with pop-ups, minimal oversight, and undertrained injectors. Chasing cost over qualifications has consequences.

Safety matters!
Training matters!
Experience matters!
Your face deserves more than a discount environment!
