Employee of the Month – March 2026

Rebekah Edwards
Rebekah Edwards has been a dedicated member of the Pioneer Manor team since February 28, 2017. She began her career here as a CNA, earned her LPN license in July of 2021, and most recently achieved her RN license in June of 2025. Rebekah’s professional growth is a true reflection of her commitment to both her career and the residents she serves.
Throughout her time at Pioneer Manor, Rebekah has consistently given her all to her residents and her coworkers. She willingly picks up extra shifts, stays late so teammates can attend their children’s activities, and approaches every task with a positive, can-do attitude. She pays close attention to detail, asks questions when she is unsure, and completes anything asked of her without complaint.
Rebekah is a strong advocate for teamwork. She makes a point to support CNAs when they are struggling, ensures residents always come first, and takes time to answer questions and teach others. Her willingness to mentor and encourage those around her has made a meaningful difference in the workplace.
In addition to her strong work ethic, Rebekah consistently lifts others up. She encourages coworkers to look on the bright side, expresses gratitude for help she receives, appreciates staff activities, and regularly nominates others for Employee of the Month. Her kindness, humility, and positivity help create a supportive and uplifting environment for both staff and residents.
Rebekah Edwards is truly deserving of Employee of the Month for March 2026, and Pioneer Manor is fortunate to have her as part of our team.

Employee of the month February 2026
Gabby Schiaffo exemplifies the very heart of compassionate caregiving and is truly deserving of Employee of the Month for February 2026 at Pioneer Manor. Since joining our team in 2022 in the dietary department and advancing to her role as a CNA, Gabby has consistently demonstrated growth, dedication, and professionalism. She treats every resident with dignity, patience, and kindness—especially during difficult moments—and takes the time to truly know their preferences and routines. Gabby is a strong advocate for residents when something isn’t right, is observant and quick to report changes in condition, and maintains a calm, respectful attitude even on stressful days. She consistently presents herself in a professional manner and is always appropriately dressed for her role, reflecting pride in her work and respect for those she serves. Gabby is dependable, punctual, and willingly helps coworkers without being asked, often picking up extra shifts or staying late when staffing is tight. She also goes above and beyond through small but meaningful gestures, such as braiding a resident’s hair or sitting with someone who needs extra comfort. Gabby takes accountability, is open to feedback, and represents the values of Pioneer Manor through her everyday actions. We are truly grateful to have her as part of our team

January Employee of the Month
Pioneer Manor is proud to recognize Guadalupe Quintanar, affectionately known as “Lupy,” as our Employee of the Month for January 2026.
Lupy joined Pioneer Manor in June of 2023 as a valued member of our Dietary Department, and since then she has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and pride in her work. She has very few absences, is always on time, and can be relied upon to show up ready to give her best each day. Her team describes Lupy as a wealth of culinary knowledge. She prepares incredibly delicious meals and desserts that are enjoyed by both residents and staff alike. On special occasions, she brings her Mexican heritage into the kitchen, sharing authentic flavors and dishes that add something truly special and meaningful to our dining experience. Lupy is always willing to learn new cooking methods, open to feedback, and quick to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed. Her upbeat attitude, positive energy, and bright smile make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. She takes the time to learn residents’ preferences and thoughtfully tailors her cooking to ensure meals are well-seasoned, enjoyable, and comforting. In addition, Lupy frequently picks up extra shifts to support her team and is known for stepping in whenever help is needed. Beyond her culinary skills, Lupy takes great pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-run kitchen, ensuring everything is kept in tip-top shape. Lupy’s dedication, teamwork, and heart for service truly embody the values of Pioneer Manor. We are incredibly grateful for her hard work and the joy she brings to our residents, staff, and community.
