Honoring Fred Jungck
In Deep Appreciation for 26 Years of Dedicated Service
October 1998 – May 2025
With heartfelt gratitude, we recognize Fred Jungck for his remarkable 26 years of dedicated service to the Board of Directors of our city-owned Skilled Nursing Facility. Since joining the board in October 1998, Fred has been a pillar of wisdom, stability, and compassion, offering guidance through seasons of growth and change that have shaped both our facility and the community it serves.
Over the years, Fred served in many capacities, including as Chairman of the Board for multiple terms. In this leadership role, he provided a steady hand, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of the values that define our mission which is excellence in care, respect for residents, and service to our community.
During his tenure, Fred helped lead our organization through countless milestones with each one reflecting progress, teamwork, and vision for the future. Among the most significant were the development of our Assisted Living addition and the creation of our Independent Living apartments, two projects that greatly expanded the care and housing options available within our community. These additions, along with many other facility improvements, operational advancements, and resident-centered initiatives, stand as lasting testaments to Fred’s foresight and dedication.
Fred’s influence reaches far beyond board decisions and building projects. His kindness, humility, and steady presence have been a source of encouragement and inspiration to staff, residents, and fellow board members alike. He has led with integrity and heart while always keeping the well-being of others at the forefront of every discussion and decision.
As Fred concludes his service in May 2025, we extend our deepest appreciation for his decades of leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment. His legacy will live on in the programs he helped build, the people he inspired, and the caring spirit that continues to define our facility.
