Massage At Equilibrium Massage, we believe everybody deserves balance.

We are a professional massage therapy center located in Hayden Lake, ID. We offer customized sessions to help reduce stress, muscle pain, & tension utilizing aromatherapy, reiki, trigger points, stretching, cupping therapy & medical massage. We help promote relaxation, manage acute or chronic pain related to sports injuries, post-op, motor vehicle accident, work-injury or from other various repetitive use syndromes. We also accept health insurance, call to see if we are in network! Our goal is to enhance muscle performance, increase range of motion, and improve the quality of health in each person we see. We work with you to create a self-care plan that will help you feel well– body, mind, & spirit.

We are excited to announce the new owner of Equilibrium Massage Therapy, Rachel Peterson!

Rachel Peterson is a medical massage therapist of 20 years, esthetician, auriculotherapist, lypossage certified trainer, TrainLMT founding faculty member, and massage apprentice instructor. She has worked in many settings like 6 star spas, cruise ships, chiropractor offices, spinal rehab clinics, and currently has a medical massage practice in CDA, ID, and owns a microspa in Kellogg, ID. "Passion is my propeller. I love this industry and how the work touches so much of humanity for better health and wellness. "

She has been a trainer/educator since 2007

•Facilitator of Seminars on Cruise Ships for Topics Including Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Benefits of Massage Therapy, Natural Body Detox, Dry Brushing and Hydrotherapy Treatments, and Detox Body Wraps. Certified Lypossage Instructor - trained with Lypossage creator Charles W. Wiltsie, III. Teaches Massage Apprentices - full massage program to obtain massage licenses.

To our friends and clients,

We have come to the very difficult decision, after 7 years, that we’re closing our doors at Equilibrium Massage Therapy. We are so full of gratitude to each of you in our community, for your support and trust with your bodywork needs. You're the reason why we do what we do and it has truly been an honor.

We say farewell to this season in life order to spend more time with our families and begin another season. Follow Misty Connella to find out more on her next journey! While the business may be closing its doors, we will remember the relationships built with each of you and they will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Important Information:

Starting this week , our new hours will be Wednesday through Friday 10am-5pm. If you have any gift certificates, you have until December 22nd to use them or be refunded for their purchase price.

Melinda Giese began her career as a LMT in 2014 from Oceans Massage Therapy school in Lubbock, Texas. She has always had a thriving interest in helping people feel better.

About Equilibrium Massage Therapy

Equilibrium Massage Therapy's office doors were opened, Coeur D Alene, ID in August of 2016 but It has been a long time dream of Owner/Balanced Body Specialist Misty Connella. She grew up watching those she cared about suffer chronic pain, the closest of which being her father. He dealt with various ailments and found that body work not only gave him relief but his family hope. We would get glimpses of the man we knew and loved that wasn’t constantly suffering. Pain changes not just the person dealing with it but everyone around them. In seeing this drastic change in him, she discovered she could and wanted to use her hands for healing. So she sought out a school to start her journey as a body worker at UAA in Anchorage, AK.

The time she spent, after being certified in 2004, working in medical and spa settings in AK, HI & now North Idaho for 10 years, helped her fine tune her passion, vision and dream to eventually start her own private practice. Her desire is to help individuals manage pain and stress by using the massage styles she has learned over the last 15 years. This passion also includes helping corporate clients, looking to improve the work place, through onsite chair massage for employees. Where they experience increased productivity, improved health, less sick days and decreased depression.

Equilibrium Massage Therapy’s office, located in Coeur D’Alene, ID, offers an environment that elicits relaxation when you walk in the door. You know your needs will be heard and met to the best of each Therapists ability and knowledge. Our #1 priority is your well being and health. We believe every body deserves balance and that through Massage, we can increase the bodies ability to find it.
