Hey friends! Feedback Needed!

As part of The Christian Wellness Club, I am creating an herbal class that will become a quarterly series. The title I came up with is "Herb Lab" for the branding of these classes. I would love your feedback. These will be live, online classes, open to members and non-members of the Club.

We will focus on select herbs we have been studying in the Club for our herbal medicine-making. In this series, what we make may include culinary herbalism (cooking, baking, mocktails, etc), body care, and/or your more lab-y tinctures, salves, syrups, and things. I will include recipes and a shopping list before the class so attendees can pick up their supplies beforehand (or they can just watch).

3. Is there something in particular you want to learn?

4. What do you think about the name "Herb Lab"? If you have another name idea you prefer, please share it.

5. I have included a logo I created for Herb Lab (there are two because I anticipate that sometimes I might include CWC above and sometimes without it). I would love your feedback on the logo.

The first class will be at the end of March, so I appreciate your help with my research and finalizing these plans!

I am working on the Summer edition of The Graceful Leaf: My Seasonal Journal series. Pouring over quotes is time-consuming and yet a delightful experience. Unfortunately, I can't include all the good quotes I find.

So...I am sharing one here for you as we are rolling into summer heat and summer fruit!

Happy summer! The service berries and thimbleberries are out right now. And I hear huckleberries are starting to grow up in the mountains. It’s foraging time!

I don’t think I’ve ever been one to go with the crowd. Ask me to play paintball. No thank you!

BUT… Askme if I wanna write a series of seasonal journals, go whitewater rafting ( and then become a guide), kayak and camp in Antarctica, primitive archery, forage wild edibles, or lasso a turkey on my honeymoon then I’m your gal! But I’m gonna do all that with a cute pair of earrings.

I think my husband knew that he had somebody different when I was eating the roses and the weeds in the yard. when we were first dating.

I’m about to hang out with a bunch of women doing some primitive skills in the woods. Karie Lee Knokethank you so much for creating an awesome adventure. Karie has turned me into a chicken of the woods mushroom huntress. Now I’m back at it again… Gonna see if I can trap an animal for the first time and start building shelters! ❤️🦋❤️🤸‍♂️
