Hip or groin pain that just won’t resolve?

A new BJSM study is shining a bright light on something pelvic therapists see every day: the pelvic floor often plays a major role in hip and groin pain—yet it’s rarely assessed in standard orthopedic care.

Many of you may remember Haley, one of the first women to join me at Inland Pelvic Health as our receptinist and then insurance coordinator. She’s always been someone who pours her heart into helping others — now she’s the one who needs our help.

Haley recently suffered an unimaginable loss with the passing of her husband, Caleb. She is now navigating this heartbreaking time while caring for their two little ones, James and Claire.

Say hello to the heart behind Inland Pelvic Health – Dr. Laura Steininger! Originally from Duluth, MN, Laura’s journey as a physical therapist has taken her around the world and ultimately led her to the scenic beauty of North Idaho, where she planted the roots of her pelvic health empire.

With a doctorate from The College of St. Scholastica and certifications in obstetrics (CAPP-OB) and dry needling (Cert-DN), Laura is a powerhouse in pelvic rehabilitation. Her passion was born from personal experience during pregnancy and postpartum when she realized how underserved women are when it comes to pelvic care. That moment sparked a deep commitment to pelvic health for both women and men.

Through years of advanced training and hands-on experience in areas like endometriosis, menopause, prostatectomy recovery, and visceral manipulation, Laura now leads a passionate team, mentoring and training them to provide exceptional, evidence-based care.
