💙 A Beautiful Picture of Compassion in Action 💙

Recently, a mother came to Open Arms newly pregnant and carrying the heavy weight of a difficult situation. As she shared her story, our team came together—each person playing a vital role in caring for her and her children.

An advocate listened and offered support. A nurse prayed with her. A volunteer cared for her little ones. Our Client Services Manager and Executive Director worked together to meet an urgent need through benevolence funds—thanks to generous partners like you.

Even her children were invited to choose blankets of their own, a small act that brought comfort and reassurance.

This moment was more than teamwork; it was the Lord at work through you—our volunteers, prayer partners, and supporters—providing hope and healing when it was needed most. 💛

This year, Open Arms took an exciting new step in community outreach—tracking our impact in real time! By gathering data at each event, we’re learning how our presence connects with people, opens doors for meaningful conversations, and invites our community into the mission of Open Arms.
From the Single Mom’s Event in May to Family Day in the Park, Rathdrum Days, Hayden Days, the Coeur d’Alene Street Fair, and Athol Daze, our staff and volunteers showed up with purpose and heart—ready to engage, listen, and share hope.
