This comprehensive flow hits your hips, spine, and chest, preparing your body for a resilient New Year. In the lunge position on the floor as shown, reach one hand up to the ceiling. Go slow, hold each phase for a breath or two, and repeat on both sides.

Lying on your back, gently hug one or both knees toward your chest. This simple move is a PT favorite for decompressing the low back and promoting relaxation before bed. 🧘 Day 10 of our 12 Days of Stretching! Find a moment of peace and mobility with the Christmastime Zen Cat-Cow Stretch! This is incredible for releasing low back tension and stiffness.
Move slowly between the two positions:
Cow Pose (Arch): Drop your belly, lift your tailbone, and look up gently.
Cat Pose (Round): Tuck your tailbone, round your spine toward the ceiling, and let your head drop.
Repeat 8-10 times to breathe life back into your spine! 🎄

Gently tilt your head to one side, bringing your ear towards your shoulder, and feel the stretch down the opposite side of your neck. For a deeper stretch, use your hand to apply gentle pressure. Hold for 20-30 seconds per side. Relax and enjoy your read, pain-free! 🔥

Long hours sitting in the car or on a plane can leave your hip flexors tight and angry. Next time you stop for gas or step off a flight, take 60 seconds to do the Long Drive Hip Flexor Stretch!

(Remember the correct standing lunge position: tuck your pelvis slightly, maintain a straight back, and feel the stretch in the front of your hip.) This stretch is the key to preventing lower back or hip pain on your trip! You can either have your front foot elevated as shown or on the ground.

If your calves are screaming after a long day of finding the perfect gifts, it's time for the Holiday Shopper's Calf Stretch!

Using a wall or chair for balance, step backward in one large step and press your back heel down until you feel a deep stretch in your back calf muscle. This simple move relieves tension in your legs and feet. Hold for 30 seconds per leg. Happy shopping, pain-free! 🎁

Sit in either a chair or on the floor. Reach for your toes, keeping your knee straight, and feel that amazing release through your hips and the back of your legs! Hold for 20-30 seconds per leg.
