Just in time not to conflict with the Christmas open house… what a good girl! This precious baby was born at home in the wee hours of the morning. Third girl, all DaySpring babies. Happy that third babies are wild cards as I nearly missed the second one. Mama was sad she could attend the open house, but we added her name to gift basket giveaway so hopefully she will win something, but she already has her prize. 🥰

22 years ago, this was the picture for my baby books. Yesterday this sweet April fools baby gave birth to her own sweet baby. My heart is just over flowing with joy and emotion.
A beautiful water birth at DaySpring. Mama did so well. Little Rome came out bright eyed with a story to tell.

Many of you have been asking… and here she is! Merrie had her baby!!!! Chloe Grace made her beautiful waterbirth arrival on Sunday at DaySpring. Such a joyous day for us all. Surrounded by many family members and lots of love, baby #6 has evened the ratio of this home. ❤️❤️❤️ ❤️

Look at this face!!! This guy decided NOT to follow any pattern for mom, and he knows it, looks pretty proud about it. What a cutie! Mom had to wait a bit longer for his appearance both in days and hours of labor, but being the trooper she is, she did amazing. Well done mama.

Now the dam is broke and we are back into the swing of births. Yesterday during a busy clinic day Quintin decided to make his waterbirth appearance. Third babies can be a wild card, and he was that for mama. Nonetheless she was strong and surrendered to the process. If only we would have known that all it would take is threatening to get her out of birth tub! Not happening… and there he was 🥰. This was her second baby with DaySpring.
And now I am all caught up, as we wait for another appearance today… stay tuned.

After a month of no babies, we were excited to get this call. The excitement in the room was over the top. Of course it also helps when mama just smiles and laughs all the way through her birth. Seriously!!! It’s the best. Didn’t hurt that little Kezia was born on her mama’s birthday!!!! She was born in the water at DaySpring just like two of her three siblings. The room was filled with worship music and laughter. Such a beautiful thing to behold.

Some babies just have a mind of their own and they will decide how they should be born. This little girl decided early on in labor to flip to breach. So no more had we arrived at this couples home did we decide a field trip to the hospital is necessary. I love the way. Mom and dad were so accepting of this change of plans knowing that this is the way it must be, this time and next time will be different.
