That’s a big atta boy for Tom (our IV Magician at Spear, who also happens to be a badass Paramedic with Bonner County EMS) as well as their entire amazing team. You guys are killin’ it at life saving!!

Definition = medical practice or care that emphasizes the practical application of the findings of the best available current research.

How do we accomplish this?
Our BCEMS clinical team meets bi-monthly to discuss clinically related topics with our Medical Director Dr Ron Jenkins. These topics can range from changing protocols, dropping/adding medications to our current formulary and most importantly making sure we are evolving and changing as prehospital medicine progresses. BCEMS is fortunate to have a progressive Medical Director and clinical group which directly correlates to lives saved in the community we serve!
