Types of massage offered:
Swedish relaxation; The most common and well known form of massage. It is a relaxing, full body experience meant to relax and warm the muscles and is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the oxygen level in the blood.
30 minute session $40
60 minute session $65
90 minute session $90

Deep tissue; this type of massage targets our deeper layers of muscles by manipulating the superficial layer of muscles and fascia (the protective layer of connective tissue surrounding our muscles, joint, and bones) The deeper pressure is beneficial for chronic muscle tension and breaking up adhesion's, commonly known as 'knots.' Generally this massage is localized on a specific area needing this type of work.

Prenatal; massage therapy while pregnant is one of the most beneficial things a soon to be mother could do for her body. Massage can relieve tension and discomforts she may be experiencing, such as backache, leg cramps, or headaches which in turn promote relaxation and better sleep.

Hot stone; this massage uses water heated smooth basalt stones to melt into your muscles to break up adhesion's and open up the meridians on the body (energy pathways) The heated stones allow the muscles to be more easily manipulated and promotes deep relaxation.

I am a licensed professional massage therapist, I graduated massage therapy school with honors in December 2013, and am insured by Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. I specialize in Swedish massage, therapeutic, deep tissue massage, and hot stone therapy. This is such a common question I get as a massage therapist that I want to explain what exactly is a KNOT?!

Well. I can tell you in my 9 years of being a massage therapist the term ‘knot’ has not been in any curricula that I’ve studied 😅

They are trigger points, everyone has them and they do not go away. WHAT?! Yes you read that right.

The only difference is if they are active or not. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Again, EVERYONE has those “knots” or trigger points. Massage is used to ‘release’ them or make them dormant.

So many people come to me asking if I can get rid of them but rest assured the only time they become an issue is if they are active and become painful and you are not broken if you have them 😉
