We gather at Earthdance, a beloved place to many and has become home to a lineage of ever-evolving grief work.

Coming together to move, sing, and feel has great power to connect us more deeply to our wholeness and purpose, opening the door to the unique and necessary ways our Soul can contribute to healing on this planet.

If we think of grief as an expression of our love, we remember that grief is one powerful facet of the human experience, inextricably woven with growth, play, pleasure and joy. Rage might arise too. If grief is an expression of love, then rage is an expressed need for a boundary.

So let us come together and stoke the sacred fire of our longing, belonging, grief, rage, repressed resentment, hope, fear, and so much more.

Includes:
šŸ•Æļø Full Day Grief Ceremony
ā˜€ļø Morning Web Weaving and Embodied Grief Session
šŸ‚ Afternoon Grief Ceremony with Musical Accompaniment by James Bird and Charlotte Althaea Collins
šŸ‡ Nourishing Lunch and Dinner, most dietary needs accomodated
ā™Øļø Sauna Access

Co-facilitated by Kaitlyn Cronin

In these times of upheaval, I am feeling a deep grief around what is happening to our beloveds as a result of ICE.

We will donate a percentage of the profit to LUCE, a local organization working on behalf of this cause.

Begins at 10:00 am
at Earthdance Creative Living Project in Plainfield, MA

I wanted to introduce two more guest facilitators for our Awakened Womb Group Immersion.
Juliana Rose Goldstone
Juliana and I have known each other since we were basically children ourselves. To be frank, we still bring out the children in each other, in the very best ways. Juliana will be offering, ā€œCourting the Wild Pelvisā€, a wild and reverent romp through the intimate anatomy of the female pelvis. During our time together we will explore the magic of the arousal networks and pleasure pathways leaning into the magic that is so often misunderstood and maligned or simply overlooked. This is the pleasure forward s*x education that we need but never received. Juliana will also lead an optional hands on, hands in self pelvic mapping practice to guide you into intimate relationship with the structures you have just learned about in your own body.

Melodie Fallon

Melodie is devoted to supporting women into a deeper, nourishing connection with their bodies, cycles, and inner wisdom. With over 13 years as a dedicated therapist and herbalist, she supports reproductive health through practices such as abdominal massage, pelvic steam, and plant-based ritual medicine. Drawing from ancestral healing traditions and embodied experience, she hold space for restoration, feminine initiation, and the revival of one’s innate healing power. Melodie will be guiding us through a breast massage practice. So often we outsource care of our breasts to doctors, or do a self exam from a fear place. What if we could create ritual and connection around the luscious padding that surrounds our tender hearts. The design is perfect.

We begin on 11/1 and have a couple more spots!

I realize more and more everyday how much perimenopause is influencing my own moment to moment life journey, teaching and client work right now. In Chinese medicine, they call this time the ā€œsecond springā€.

Perimenopause puts us in touch with what no longer serves us. It brings our shadows to the front so that we can reckon with them, make peace and find deeper healing and purpose. We realize our time is finite.

And so we give less f*cks what people think so that we can focus on the BIG F*CK we have ā€œcomeā€ (haha, couldn’t help myself) to fulfill.

We will weave these themes of threading the needle of our purpose through our practices of tending and pleasure and learn how tending ourselves feeds our families and the collective from an embodied place.

Without further ado, I’d love to introduce two of the facilitators joining our immersion!

Carina Gomes Alencar is a conduit for the essence of Selvagem - our innate wildness.
Her voice carries this frequency in a Siren’s song of love, death and ecstasy, liberating those who have been caged, chained and tamed.

When you are ready to shed the skins of who you can no longer be, Carina will guide you through portals to the liberating realm of the wild feminine.

I am so delighted to have her as a temple builder and holder for our entire immersion! Ā

Alisa Wright Tanny is the founder and director of The Embodiment Sanctuary. She brings over 30 years of somatic education as an Integrative Dance Movement Therapist, Embodiment Coach and Infant Developmental Movement Educator.Ā

Alisa is a deep soul sister to me and her embodied wisdom runs deep. She was my birthing companion and I attribute the fact that I gave birth vaginally to her (and my magic womb / p***y). Without her wisdom, expertise and capacity to communicate kinesthetically, I feel quite sure I would have ended up with a cesarean.

Alisa will be a guest facilitator, offering ā€œEmbodied Breathing, Mobility & Stability with the Container & Contents of the Pelvisā€

We have a few more weeks before Awakened Womb Group Immersion begins and a FEW MORE SPOTS.

Over the next couple of weeks I am going to share a series of posts about the amazing facilitators coming to make offerings at Awakened Womb.

I notoriously put myself LAST when I do this. This time I am honoring myself first.

Starting on November 1st, each month, for 6 months, on the Saturday closest to the full moon, we will gather for a full, enriching day of Awakened Womb practices.

We will explore a plant ally (likely more than one) each month. Our first featured plant ally, on our first day of meeting together, is mugwort.

Most plants work on different organs and systems, and have an affinity for one organ. Mugwort has an affinity for the womb, and is a sacred plant that supports our womb health and balance through all of the phases of womanhood.

You can even see it’s own progression through the seasons. In the spring time, the shoots are juicy and the edges are soft. In the height of summer, they start to flower, and then in the fall, the edges grow more spindly and the seeds emerge. Much like us.
I even conjecture sometimes that the respective phase of the plant supports us during that same respective phase of our life journeys.

I love working with plant medicines as an adjunct to emotional, spiritual and physical practices. We are such multifaceted beings.

Join us beginning November 1st.

On our first meeting we will explore:
šŸ Ancestral and childhood trauma and the impact on our hormone health
šŸ Mugwort, an ally through all the phases
šŸ Recipes for making mugwort herbal concoctions, including womb oil, which you will get to bring home.
šŸ Embodied movement and posture practices that support the health and healing of chronic body ailments.
šŸ Yoni Steaming introduction and practice
Carina Alencar has joined us as co-creatrix and ritual support! She brings such magic, play and medicine!

How do we make meaning out of life and the daily practical activities? šŸ•Æļø

When we wash our faces at night we have the opportunity to make ritual, with water and what we wish to take away before we enter our dream time. šŸ’¦ ā˜ļø

And when do we make space to adorn the earth with flowers and grieve the passing summer and the atrocities of the world. While simultaneously weeping and celebrating the gift it is to be alive, to be surrounded by so much beauty. 🌼

This is what it is to live into an 🩸

Join us soon for six months of monthly in person ceremony. Where we both create ceremony and figure out how to truly weave practical magic into our daily lives. With love and accountability together in a group.

I love this song ā€œrememberā€ by Lyndsay Scott. I have never considered myself a ā€œmusicianā€ and it’s a learning for me to sing and drum at the same time! I love the practice. I feel strongly it’s a part of my

Well, this memory brought some tears this morning. When I wrote this last year, I didn’t name that I knew it would be our last big adventure with Keith. I couldn’t.

Keith got a little paranoid at the end, and any allusion to the reality of his impending death was sometimes perceived that we were giving up on him. Or sometimes even that we wanted him to die. Or even that we were trying to kill him. Those were some of the hardest moments.

I couldn’t publicly and honestly acknowledge that he was passing until after it happened out of respect for him. Even though I knew it to be true in my soul.

Anyhow, this was our last trip to the island. With Keith. Our last adventure with Daddykins. Truth be told, we actually picked him up from the Emergency Department near Framingham MA and drove straight to Maine that night. We all knew it was our last opportunity to have a last adventure as a family.

Some of my friends thought I was crazy. Most still do.

ā€œWhat if he dies while you are there?ā€

I know this is wrong, but all I could think about was the movie, Weekend at Bernie’s, because we hadn’t signed the closing paperwork for the sale of the island yet.

Part of me thought he would die while we were there, and was in total honor of that possible path.

I love the photo of Birch driving the boat and Keith sitting next to him. It was a transmission. Now you drive the boat, Son. I also see how unwell Keith is in that photo and the grief comes right up. Again. Still.

Grief is a wild wolf. Unpredictable. Like the ocean.
