Reiki is an ancient Japanese form of hands-on energy work used to return ki - the life force - into the body. This can promote relaxation, reduction of stress, and can activate the body's own healing processes to restore physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. We all have the ability to direct energy for healing, and we are capable of healing ourselves, much like when our body heals itself from a cut or the common cold. But a visit with a Reiki practitioner can help jump start this process or help us when we are stuck. I believe that by the time physical illness is present in the body, there has already been something on a spiritual, emotional, and/or mental level that we haven't addressed. Reiki can bring energy and clearing to all levels of our being. For small issues or general relaxation, much can be achieved in one session. For more serious or long term issues, multiple sessions can be helpful. But keep in mind that it is ultimately you who is doing the healing, Reiki is merely promoting the energy that accelerates your own natural healing abilities. ❤️
