Bridge to Balance LLC

Bridge to Balance LLC Counseling gives you professional assistance to sort through and respond to life’s changes and to put you back on track to achieve your personal goals.

Life is a series of crossroads. As we travel on our individual journeys we will experience challenges, disappointments, and changes. These life-changing experiences can occur within our current relationships, past hurts, traumatic events, occupations, and even from within ourselves. When these challenges occur, life can become unbalanced; bringing confusion and dissatisfaction. When certain aspects of our life feel broken, life can feel as if we are drowning. Often times we just need a little help; some assistance to heal and face these challenges head on. We believe that balance is essential to living life to the fullest. Finding, creating, and maintaining balance in one’s daily routine aides in building and strengthening confidence, enables focus, helps us invest in our relationships, allows us to cope with stress more effectively, and raises our self-esteem. We are committed to helping you build bridges allowing you and your loved ones to find balance in our changing lives.

🌿 A Gentle Reminder for Today 🌿

"In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength."
— Isaiah 30:15

So often when life feels overwhelming, our instinct is to push harder, think more, or try to solve everything on our own. But this verse reminds us of something different.

Sometimes strength isn’t found in striving — it’s found in slowing down.
In quiet moments with God.
In resting instead of carrying everything alone.

When we pause, reflect, and place our trust in Him, we often find the clarity, peace, and strength we were searching for all along.

If this season feels heavy, remember that healing and growth don’t always come through force — sometimes they come through rest, reflection, and support.

💛 You don’t have to navigate it alone.

We’re continuing our series where we let AI create an image based on what it knows about each of our counselors — as a fun way to help you get to know the heart behind our team. 💛

This week, we’re featuring Joshua Williams, Resident in Counseling at Bridge to Balance.

Joshua earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in September 2025 and practices under the supervision of Kristi Gibney, LPC. Before entering the counseling field, he worked in IT and Big 4 consulting, experiences that shaped the clear, structured, and thoughtful approach he now brings to therapy — while remaining deeply human, present, and relational with his clients.

Joshua works with adults and couples, including executive and faith-based clients, who may appear “high functioning” on the outside while quietly struggling with anxiety, burnout, overthinking, low mood, perfectionism, relationship patterns, and a harsh inner critic. His work focuses on helping clients identify the patterns beneath their symptoms, understand triggers and attachment dynamics, challenge unhelpful thinking, and build stronger emotional regulation and communication skills.

For those who desire it, Joshua also offers faith-integrated counseling, thoughtfully bringing together psychological science and biblical truth. He often draws on the concept of metanoia — a change of mind — as a framework for examining beliefs, renewing thought patterns, and developing healthier responses that lead to lasting change.

Above all, Joshua believes meaningful change happens within a safe and consistent therapeutic relationship — a place where clients can be fully honest, understood, and supported as they move toward greater stability and alignment with their values.

👋 A Quick Reminder About Our Newest Counselor, Joshua Williams

Did you know that Joshua Williams, one of our counselors at Bridge to Balance, is currently accepting new daytime and telehealth clients?

Joshua is a Resident in Counseling who earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and practices under the supervision of Kristi Gibney, LPC. With a background in IT and Big 4 consulting, he brings a thoughtful, structured approach to therapy while remaining deeply relational and present with clients.

Sometimes people are specifically looking for a male counselor, and Joshua offers that perspective while working with adults and couples navigating challenges like anxiety, burnout, overthinking, relationship patterns, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries.

Joshua’s approach focuses on helping clients identify patterns driving distress, strengthen emotional regulation, and create meaningful change, not just temporary symptom relief.

For those who desire it, he also offers faith-integrated counseling, thoughtfully blending psychological insight with biblical wisdom.

If you’ve been thinking about starting counseling, Joshua currently has daytime and telehealth availability and would be honored to walk with you through the process. Go to www.bridgetobalance.com to get more information or schedule an appointment.

🌿 Healing Is a Gentle Process

Sometimes brokenness feels overwhelming. The pain may seem heavy, confusing, or even isolating. But Scripture reminds us that God does not step back from our wounds—He moves closer.

God meets you in your broken places and gently leads you toward healing. He does not rush your process or minimize your hurt. Instead, He brings compassion, restoration, and steady care to the places that need it most.

Healing may not happen overnight. It often unfolds slowly, layer by layer. But you are not walking that journey alone.

📖 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3

If you are in a season of healing, know that your pain matters, your story matters, and support is available. Whether through prayer, trusted community, or counseling, restoration is possible. 💛 www.bridgetobalance.com

🧠✨ 5 Practical Ways to Support Your Mental Health This Week ✨🧠

Mental health doesn’t have to mean big life overhauls.
Sometimes it’s small, consistent shifts that make the biggest difference.

Here are 5 simple things you can start today:

1️⃣ Get 10–15 minutes of sunlight
Natural light helps regulate mood and sleep cycles. Step outside, even if it’s just around the block.

2️⃣ Name what you’re feeling
Instead of “I’m stressed,” try: “I’m overwhelmed and tired.”
Specific language reduces emotional intensity.

3️⃣ Move your body — gently
Stretch. Walk. Clean. Dance in your kitchen. Movement releases built-up stress in the body.

4️⃣ Reduce one source of noise
Turn off notifications. Step away from social media. Protect your mental space.

5️⃣ Check your self-talk
Would you speak to a friend the way you’re speaking to yourself?
Practice one compassionate thought today.

💬 Which one do you need most this week — 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5?

At Bridge to Balance, we believe mental wellness is built in small, faithful steps. And if you need deeper support, we’re here to walk with you. 🤍 www.bridgetobalance.com

🌿✨ Goodbye, February ✨🌿

February, you were full of growth, connection, and meaningful moments.

This month we were reminded that healing doesn’t have to be rushed, growth doesn’t have to be loud, and love — for ourselves and others — is always worth nurturing. 💛

Whether you took a brave step in counseling, learned something new about your wellness journey, or simply made it through a hard day… we celebrate that with you.

As we step into a new month, we carry forward hope, progress, and the reminder that every small step counts. 🌱

Hello, March — we’re ready for you.

Kiley is passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, body image struggles, attention issues, and trauma. With experience as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, she brings both compassion and practical skill to her work.

Her faith is an important part of who she is, and she hopes to bring light, hope, and encouragement to every person who walks through her door. ✝️

Outside of the office, Kiley enjoys watching Friends, spending time with her fur babies — Luna, Sammy, and Lylla — and being with family and friends. One of her favorite memories was ringing in the New Year at Passion Conference 2020, surrounded by thousands of young adults worshiping together. 🎶
