🌿 Take 5 Minutes to Re-Center

When life feels busy, overwhelming, or emotionally heavy, a few intentional moments can help bring you back to calm. Here’s a simple grounding exercise you can do anywhere — no equipment, no quiet room required.

✨ 5-Minute Re-Centering Exercise
1. Pause + Notice
Gently close your eyes (if comfortable) and take one slow, deep breath.
Ask yourself: What am I feeling in this moment?

2. Breathe Deeply
Inhale for 4 seconds,
hold for 2 seconds,
exhale for 6 seconds.
Repeat 5 times.

3. Engage Your Senses
Name:
👁️ 1 thing you can see
👂 1 thing you can hear
✋ 1 thing you can feel
This slows your nervous system and brings you back to the present.

4. Relax Your Body
Unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders, and soften your hands.
Let your body release what your mind is holding.

5. Set a Gentle Intention
Try something like:
“I am safe.”
“I can handle this moment.”
“I choose calm over chaos.”

Take one more deep breath and open your eyes slowly.
