We’re looking for a few community members to join us for a casual, in-person conversation about healthcare and how Tamarack Health is perceived in our communities. No prep needed, just real talk.

Cold and flu symptoms usually peak within 2 - 3 days, but symptoms can linger on for longer than you would expect. Tamarack Health Emergency Department NP, Melissa Malmberg says “The best prevention against the flu is getting the yearly flu vaccine.

Simple steps like frequent handwashing, wiping down surfaces, and staying home if you’re sick, can also help reduce the spread”. Melissa was recently interviewed regarding the increasing cases of Influenza A occurring during this years' flu season by the local WBZH Hayward radio station.
