CAO Mario Harding and the St. Rose Hospital team were proud to hand off more than 100 toys and holiday goodies to Christian De Silva of the Hayward Salvation Army. This generous donation was made possible by the incredible kindness and giving spirit of St. Rose Hospital staff, whose contributions will help bring joy to children and families throughout our community this Christmas season. A large group of committed, energetic, and motivated Alameda Health System volunteers gathered early Saturday morning at the Alameda County Food Bank to continue the Season of Giving. Together, they helped move more than 16,000 pounds of food, providing nearly 14,000 meals for community members in need. What a Spooktacular day at St. Rose Hospital, where 20 departments showed off their creativity in our annual Pumpkin Carving Contest! Each display was crafted with care, teamwork, and plenty of Halloween spirit. The highlight of the day? Having Alameda County District 2 Supervisor Elisa Márquez as our special guest judge! As always, the St. Rose Team poured their hearts into every design and had a gourd old time celebrating together! #
