As we celebrate Patient Safety Awareness Week, we’re reflecting on what it means to serve as Hayward’s only safety-net hospital. At St. Rose Hospital, patient safety isn’t just a clinical checklist—it’s a deep commitment to our community and the families who trust us with their care. To celebrate, our teams held a fun poster and cupcake competition. One highlight was a poster created by Rossey Jane Catamco (9) and Haley Berry Catamco (8), family members of our EVS staff, reminding us that safety is a value shared by the whole family. Between the inspiring artwork and delicious cupcakes, the week was a great reminder that while our work is serious, the strength of our community keeps us going. StRoseHospital

United by a shared commitment to equity, compassion, and community, our team volunteered side by side to support local families facing food insecurity.
