We rounded out the month of April celebrating out incredible COTA, Connie. Her innovation, dedication, and willingness to step in wherever needed make a powerful impact on the care we provide.

Connie brings creativity, compassion and heart to each therapy session. Connie also shows extreme dedication as she often assists extra hours as a CNA when we are short or in a bind.

Thank you to Connie for wearing many hats, supporting our residents in many ways and bringing your whole heart to our home each day. You help to enhance the lives of all of our residents and we appreciate you!

Earlier in the week we Proudly Celebrated Administrative Professionals Day!

We celebrated a few of the incredible women who keep our facility running smoothly with their organization, dedication, and heart.

Your follow through, knowledge, and tireless behind-the-scenes work ensure our operations run seamlessly every single day. We are grateful for the support you provide to residents, families, and staff. Thank you for all that you do!

✨ Olivia – Business Office Assistant
Thank you for greeting every challenge (and every phone call!) with patience, and professionalism. Your attention to the little things keeps us on track. Thank you for not only showing your skills in the office setting but helping on the floor when you are needed!

✨ Brooke – Medical Records
Your accuracy, consistency, and commitment to detail keeps us all in line! We appreciate all of the many hats that you wear to ensure that many things run smoothly. We appreciate the essential role you play in our care team and the extreme amount of heart that you show to our residents.

Together, these three make a large impact in the facility and it is felt. Our facility is stronger because of them. Join us in giving a huge THANK YOU to Lee Ann, Olivia, and Brooke for everything they do not only this week, but every day!!

Over several days in March into the beginning of April, we welcomed fluffy little chicks into the world! Resident enjoyed checking in daily, watching new arrivals, and spending time holding these sweet little bundles of joy.
It was a heartwarming, hands-on experience filled with smiles and laughter.

🌸 Spring Has Sprung at Hayward Health Services! 🌷

There’s a fresh energy in the air and you can feel it throughout our community! With sunshine peeking in and spirits lifting, our residents and staff are embracing all the little joys that come with the season. Our residents were able to enjoy some sunshine out on the patio yesterday.

At the end of March, we celebrated an incredible milestone as we honored Pam, our amazing Laundry and Housekeeping Account Manager, on her semi-retirement.

Pam has been the heart behind so much of what makes our facility feel like home. From ensuring fresh linens to creating a clean, welcoming environment for our residents and staff, her hard work never went unnoticed.

Pam, thank you for your years of commitment, compassion, and the pride that you brought to your work. We are happy that we will continue to see you a couple of days a week, just in a different capacity.

We are wishing you the best in this next chapter, may it be filled with relaxation, joy, and the things that you love the most.

Earlier this week we celebrated Val, our incredible Social Worker, on World Social Work Day, whose compassion, advocacy, and true bright light make a large impact on our residents, families, and team.

Val goes above and beyond—listening, supporting, guiding, and ensuring every resident feels heard, respected, and cared for. Her hard work shines through in every interaction, and our community is stronger because of her dedication.

Thank you, Val, for the heart you bring to our home and the difference you make every single day. We appreciate you!

When the weather outside turned cold and snowy, we brought the heat indoors with a round of our hilarious parachute pants game! And let’s just say… the room was bursting with laughter, flying objects, and a whole lot of wiggling!

Who needs sunshine when you’ve got residents, staff, and an Activities crew who know how to turn a winter day into pure FUN? From big smiles to belly laughs, this snowy and cold day was one to remember!

🎉 A Very Special Celebration! 🎉

Friday, our residents and staff came together to honor a milestone — the 75th birthday of our wonderful Activities Coordinator, Heather! 🎂🎈

We are so grateful for the compassion, enthusiasm, and joy they bring to our community each and every day.

From shared conversation to cards, and plenty of sweet treats the day was filled with love and appreciation.

Please join us in wishing our Activities Coordinator a very happy 75th birthday!

Friday we celebrated Maintenance Appreciation Day and recognized the incredible work our Sr. Maintenance Director, Bruce Johnston, does every day to keep our home safe, comfortable, and running each and every day.

From fixing what’s broken, to preventing problems before they happen, Bruce plays a vital role in the daily lives of both our residents and staff. Whether it’s repairing equipment, setting up for activities and events, keeping our building beautiful, or responding quickly when something needs attention, Bruce is always there with a helping hand. Bruce is known to go above and beyond. There is not a day when in the building that he is not seen in the hallways passing trays or helping in the dining room.

Our residents and staff are so grateful for the dedication, hard work, and care Bruce brings to our facility each day. He helps make this place truly feel like home.
Thank you for everything you do — we appreciate you!

Yesterday we took time to celebrate all of incredible team members that make our community feel like home.

Our staff enjoyed yummy treats, Coops Pizza for lunch, and a small gift basket of self care items raffled off for each shift. From nursing to housekeeping, dietary to activities, therapy to maintenance-every team member plays an important role in caring for our residents each day.

We are so grateful for the compassion, dedication, and hard work our staff bring to our residents and to one another. Thank you for going above and beyond and for making a difference every single day. We appreciate each and every one of you!
