Ice is never completely safe under any conditions. Use these tips the next time you go out on the ice to
ice fish, snowmobile, ATV, cross-country ski, or enjoy a winter day.
- Consider all ice unpredictable
- Check local ice conditions – bait shops, radio, local establishments, etc.
- Wear proper clothing and equipment
- Bring a buddy – don’t go alone
- Let people know where you will be going and returning home
- Do not venture out in unfamiliar areas
- Avoid being on the ice at night

Cervical cancer can often be prevented with three key tools, HPV vaccination, routine screening, and early treatment when needed.

Vaccination lowers risk, screenings catch concerns early, and early treatment stops cancer before it starts. Together, they create a powerful defense for long-term health.
