Happy Monday from KRCC! Parents, how do you know if your little one (birth to five) might benefit from our Early Childhood Mental Health Program?

Look for signs like ongoing trouble with emotions (extreme tantrums or constant crying), delays in talking or playing with others, pulling away from family or friends, big changes in eating or sleeping, or reactions to family stress that seem too big for their age. These could be signals they need extra support to grow socially and emotionally strong.

You're not alone—we're here with assessments, therapy, family guidance, and outreach to help your child thrive early on. Let's nurture those bright futures together! Call 1-800-575-7223 to connect or visit krcccares.com for our Guide to Services. What's one joyful moment with your child lately? 🌄💙

Happy Friday from KRCC! As a mental health provider with years of experience supporting folks through anxiety, I want you to know: Anxiety isn't a sign of weakness—it's a signal that your body and mind are working overtime, and it's okay to seek tools to ease that load.

Start with grounding techniques like the 5-4-3-2-1 method: Name 5 things you see, 4 you can touch, 3 you hear, 2 you smell, and 1 you taste, it pulls you back to the present and calms racing thoughts. Build from there with daily practices like short walks in nature, journaling worries to challenge them, or deep breathing to activate your body's relaxation response. Remember, consistent self-compassion is key; speak to yourself as you would a dear friend.

If anxiety feels overwhelming, you're not alone—KRCC is here with evidence-based therapy, medication management if needed, and crisis support to help you regain control. Call our 24/7 Crisis Line at 1-800-262-7491 or visit krcccares.com for our Guide to Services. What's one technique that's helped you manage anxiety? 🌄💙

Happy Thursday from KRCC! If anxiety is creeping in, like a quiet storm cloud, remember, you're not alone, and small steps can bring calm. Try this simple technique: The 4-7-8 breath—inhale quietly for 4 counts, hold for 7, exhale slowly for 8. It helps reset your nervous system and ease racing thoughts. We're here to support you with more tools through therapy, wellness programs, and crisis care. Take a breath and reach out if needed, call our 24/7 Crisis Line at 1-800-262-7491 or visit krcccares.com for our Guide to Services. What's one step you're taking for calm today? 🌄💙

Our Story

Today. Tomorrow. Always. When you think you're alone, we'll be there.

Our lives are like mountain roads – they twist and turn, and sometimes, they don’t take you where you want to go. But like us, you need to know that where you end up is not where you have to stay. When all seems lost, you are not alone and we can help you find your way. For fifty years, our light has burned brightly, and we’ve taken the hands of countless people in the darkest of times and given them the hope and help they’ve needed. Things can get better. You can get well. We care about you, and the story of your life is important to us. Now, it’s time for you to care about you. Recovery happens, and it starts at KRCC.
