Can I encourage and declare somethings to myself this morning….

Jamese, I am so proud of the woman you are becoming! 😍

You are beautiful, goofy, creative, determined, caring , dramatic and stubborn. 🤷🏽‍♀️

You have made many sacrifices, experienced trauma, setbacks, heartbreaks, and disappointments. Yet, NONE of these things has killed, robbed or changed the plan or assignment God has for your life! 🙌🏽

You may be shy, tend to feel more comfortable being quiet, chill and coasting in the background BUT….that time has come to end. YOU GOT WORK TO DO GIRL!!!

Own this season in your life. Embrace the transformation.
Be Obedient.

Therapist Mom Moment. I often work with adult clients to help them navigate through barriers in their interpersonal relationships. One popular tool is identifying their love language. While I focus primarily on adults recognizing theirs and others, it's essential to recognize kids have them too. In between my sessions, I usually fuss, check on their school participation, fuss and tell them to clean up behind themselves. 🤦🏾‍♀️ But instead today, I took time to speak to my oldest son in one of his love languages, physical touch. .
