I recently attended an event at The Olive Ann Hotel in Grand Forks, an absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel.

It was built in honor of Olive Ann Beech and the deep tradition of aviation at UND.

The history 🤓 nerd in me was intrigued by its namesake. Beech aircraft?

Incredible life story and legacy. Her picture and quote displayed in lobby:

I think Olive Ann was the kind of person everyone deserves to have around.

I have always been a person that is not fearful of trying something new. I don’t fear change. I fear a life of regrets and suppressed passions.

I have watched people:
✔️Settle for jobs and relationships that make them miserable.
✔️Be crippled by fear of failure even though the possibility of success is at fingertips.
✔️Hold on to the theory that happiness starts at retirement only to be faced with early death or debilitating illnesses.

You are worthy of happiness in this very moment. You are worthy of doing things you love surrounded by people who grant you permission to love yourself.
