Copiah County Medical Center has an opening for a Maintenance Technician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Repair and maintain patient and non-patient
equipment.
2. Ability to read and understand diagrams, sketches
and manuals dealing with equipment.
3. Ability to do air conditioning, heating and
electrical repairs.
4. Ability to perform basic plumbing skills.
5. Ability to perform minor flooring repairs.
6. Will do routine boiler maintenance.
7. Will be required to stand on call nights and
weekends.
8. Must have knowledge of generator operations and the
ability to service and maintain the generator
system.
9. Ability to perform carpentry work, for example,
sheetrock, trim, painting, etc.

Qualifications:

High School graduate preferable with basic electrical knowledge. Air conditioning and heating knowledge with refrigerant certification. Basic plumbing skills needed. Need good communication skills. Must understand basic blueprint reading and have at least one-year experience in the maintenance field. Valid MS driver’s license.
