Hospital Update: Expansion of Inpatient Coverage & Specialist Resources Coming Soon!
We’re pleased to share an important update for our hospital and community. Following a unanimous vote of approval by our Board, we have partnered with a full-time hospitalist group to provide 24/7/365 in-house physician coverage.
This addition enhances access to inpatient care while preserving physician choice and continuity. Local physicians may continue to see and manage their own patients, or may choose to admit to the in-house hospitalist team, offering flexibility and collaboration in care delivery.
In addition, our care teams now have access to up to six specialists available 24/7 through telehealth, providing real-time consultation and clinical support when needed. These resources expand specialty access and support coordinated, patient-centered care close to home.
We also want to express our sincere appreciation to our current hospitalist staff for their dedication and professionalism. Their continued work and partnership remain an important part of our inpatient care model, and we look forward to continuing to work closely with them as we move forward.
This enhanced care model supports ongoing clinical collaboration, educational opportunities, and long-term provider recruitment, helping strengthen our hospital and the services we provide to the community.
