Hip bursitis doesn't have to mean time away from the gym. 🙌

Lori came to us with greater trochanteric and iliopsoas bursitis. Our first priority was making sure pain didn't get worse. From there, we got to work identifying muscle imbalances, keeping the surrounding muscles strong, and gradually loading the affected area with movements similar to her gym workouts.

The result? The tenderness on the side and front of her hip has subsided, the imbalances have been corrected, and she's still showing up and putting in the work with . This is how we rehab the right way while collaborating with your personal trainer.

Volleyball is a sport built on explosive movements; jumping, landing, cutting, and quick changes in direction. Without the right strength and stability, those movements can lead to overuse injuries.

During this PT session, we focused on building functional strength that translates to the court and also incorporated plyometrics.

We are also working with Weronika to focus on developing lower body and core strength. Goal is to improve power and overall resilience on the court. Stronger muscles mean better performance, safer landing and a body that can handle the demands of a long volleyball season.

Training the right way off the court makes all the difference so you can be available for your team all the time 💪
