Today we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day in the most joyful, inclusive way 💙💛

Our adaptive yoga class showed up in mismatched socks and that wasn’t random. The extra chromosome that individuals with Down syndrome have is shaped like a pair of socks, which is why people all over the world wear mismatched socks today: to start conversations, spread awareness, and celebrate differences.

At The Therapy Garden, this day is more than awareness. It’s about honoring our clients, creating spaces where everyone belongs, and celebrating the beauty of neurodiversity.

Different is not less. It’s powerful, it’s worthy, and it deserves to be seen.
