Speech Start Speech Start is a private speech, language, feeding, occupational therapy and academic center for children in Hazlet and Fair Haven, NJ.

Speech Start has two locations:

❄️ Snow Day Update ❄️ We will be closed Monday, February 23 due to the snow. Please stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy a cozy day at home.

Just because we are closed does not mean speech has to stop. Bring speech into your snow day with a fun hot chocolate activity. Practice sequencing words like first, next, then, and last. Target core words such as more, hot, help, and all done. Work on speech sounds while adding marshmallows or stirring.
