Dr. Scatton has over 28 years experience providing state of the art eye care to his patients including 24 years at his present location which has evolved to become one of the largest independent private practices in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from King's College, Wilkes Barre, PA and a Doctor of Optometry degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Optometric Science from the Pennsylvania College of Optometey, Philadelphia, PA. He successfully completed internships at The Eye Institute including the specialty contact lens clinic, the Lynch Pediatric and Binocular Vision Service, and the William F. Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He also achieved clinical honors while serving an internship at the eye clinic of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He and his wife Madonna reside in Mountain Top, PA and have two children, Kristina, and husband Bernie, Michael, and wife Kelly, and one grandson Bernie!
We accept most vision insurances including Davis Vision, Vision Service Plan, EyeMed, National Vision Administators, Vision Benefits of America, Superior Vision, and Spectera. What some patient's don't know is that their medical insurance also sometimes covers an annual eye exam, just give us a call we're here to help!
We also participate with most medical insurance plans including Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, First Priority Health, Geisinger, Aetna, United Health Care, Humana, Cigna, Tricare, and most other plans. Our medical billing department has over 25 years experience to assure you are getting the most accurate answers to all of your questions in this very confusing time of medical insurance coverage!
Our office also offers convenient safe lighted private parking so our patients can have the convenience of leaving the office and walking only a few feet to their car. The office is also completely handicap accessible, and we offer convenient evening appointments.
