Happy Friday from Northeast PT Associates! 🎉

We made it to the end of the week—great work, team and patients! 💪👏 Here in Pennsylvania, we’re getting a little snow today into tomorrow ❄️☃️ and gearing up for a very cold weekend with wind chills dipping to -20° or colder 🥶 That means extra care when walking, driving, and shoveling—your joints will thank you! 😉

Our therapists will be busy doing what we do best: helping patients move better, feel stronger, and stay safe through winter weather ❄️➡️🚶‍♀️💙 (Remember: bend at the knees, not the back, when shoveling!)

And don’t forget—Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday! 🏈🎉
Who’s watching? 👀
Who are you cheering for? 🏆
And what snacks will be fueling your recovery day? 🍕🥨 (Everything in moderation… and maybe a stretch at halftime! 😄)

Whatever your weekend has in store, stay warm, stay safe, and keep moving—we’ll see you next week at Northeast PT! ❄️💙

Happy Groundhog Day! 🦫❄️

It looks like we’re in for six more weeks of winter. Cold, snowy conditions can increase the risk of slips, falls, and muscle strains—especially when shoveling ❄️, walking on icy surfaces 🧊, or staying less active indoors.

If winter aches, pains, or an injury are slowing you down 💪, the team at Northeast PT Associates is here to help you move safely and comfortably through the season.

Stay warm 🔥, stay safe 🚶‍♂️, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you need an evaluation or support during the remainder of winter.

With the snow we received this past weekend, it’s a great time to make sure you’re shoveling safely! Proper technique not only gets the job done—it also helps prevent common injuries to your back, shoulders, and neck.

Here are a few quick tips to keep you moving safely:
✔️ Warm up before heading outside—think light stretching or a short walk.
✔️ Use a shovel that fits your height to reduce strain.
✔️ Keep your back straight—lift with your legs, not your spine.
✔️ Push snow whenever possible instead of lifting it.
✔️ Take breaks, stay hydrated, and don’t rush.

If you experienced pain or strained something while clearing your driveway or sidewalks, we’re here to help. Give Northeast PT Associates a call to schedule an evaluation—our team is ready to get you back to feeling your best!

Stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy the winter season! ❄️💙
