SCHVITZ + SPRITZ 🧖🏻‍♀️🍹🌞 Head to this Thursday 10/23 for REDWOOD REVIVAL, a wellness pop-up with a special bar menu featuring both Land + Local and mocktails and cocktails. The beautifully designed is on-site and open from 11am-4pm. We’ll be there this Thursday 10/23 from 2-4pm sampling all of our flavors! The pop-up continues Fri through Sun — and that’s a wrap on River Electric’s first season!

Thank you for the sweet write up in about our product line and our expanding partnerships with local wineries

I never anticipated having a product line when I started Land + Local 8 years ago, but back in 2020 when it didn’t feel safe to cater in folks kitchens’ the thought crossed my mind of, what does the community need and where can I be of service?

Our line of shrubs, mixers, tea and cocktail salts felt like a safe way to bring the benefits back to the kitchen for our customers, all while sparking pleasure and joy in dark times, AND supporting our local farmers and purveyors. And it quelled my own anxiety to stay close to the plants during that time, dream in flavor combinations, and bring it to life from both a culinary and medicine makers’ background.

Every day is a challenge but I am so fulfilled by this work and humbled by the recognition and acknowledgement after quietly bootstrapping this business over these last 8 years. Thank you to everyone who has supported and hyped up this business over the years. I look forward to keeping you informed as we make our next steps along this crunchy growth journey. Cheers 🥂

SIP + SCHVITZ ! 🧖🏻‍♀️ Join us today at in Guerneville for REDWOOD REVIVAL, 8 days of sauna, dips, and sips. This wellness-focused pop-up series is a collaboration between and other local brands, featuring a special food & beverage menu. Today (and next Thursday 10/23) there are some delicious Land + Local drinks on the menu, ranging from hot, cold, NA, or alcoholic bevvies. We’ll also be there sampling our products from 2-4pm. The sauna will be open 11am-4pm, with the large pool heated up and the small pool kept cold for plunging. We hope to see you there!

Some quick snapshots of yesterday, an average Tuesday for us : Farm pickups, processing lots of plants, mixing, labeling, bottling, heat sealing, shlepping, cleaning.

Feeling a lot of gratitude for the folks who reached out in response to our hail mary IG message about being short staffed yesterday and for swooping in to help. We are in the throws of busy season and are currently dealing with unexpected short staffing.

That being said, we are hiring! please DM or email kim@landandlocal.com if you’re interested in being a part of our team. we’re looking for plant lovers and team members for weekend farmers market help and production assistance Tuesdays in the kitchen.

We’ve been busy bees lately turning hundreds of lbs of local fruits + botanicals into our Seasonal shrubs and mixers, in preparation for our debut THIS SUNDAY at Marin Farmers’ Market this Sunday, 6/8 in San Rafael at the civic center!!! Come see us and show some love 8a-1p!

Strawberry Snap Pea Shrub is also making her comeback appearance this weekend at all our markets! We will also be at Saturday 8:30a-12p and Sunday 9a-1:30p.

So much fun this weekend teaching our Medicinal Mixology workshop this past weekend! We landed on making a Strawberry Snap Pea Mint Shrub (one of our former best sellers) and harvested all the ingredients straight from the farm! We talked plant energetics, extraction techniques, harvest tips, cocktail making, the works! And guests got to take home a cute travel flask of the shrub we made together in class.

Look out for more offerings in collaboration with Single Thread Farm, including a bitters and fire cider making class later in the season!

For those that couldn’t make it this past weekend, would you like us to offer this same class again at the farm?
