Long COVID is one of the most complex post-infectious syndromes we’ve seen in modern medicine.

And if you’ve been living with it, you already know how isolating it can be. Especially when tests come back ‘normal.’

Researchers are actively studying the mechanisms: viral persistence, immune dysregulation, vascular inflammation, and autonomic dysfunction are all being explored.

What I find especially interesting (and what I’ll be discussing more) is how similar these pathways are to what we see in chronic Lyme disease.

Different trigger. But often, strikingly similar biology.

You’re not making it up. This is real. And it deserves real investigation.

Save this if Long COVID has affected you or someone you love. 💚

“My child disappeared overnight.”

That’s one of the most heartbreaking things a parent has ever said to me in my office.

One day their kid was fine. The next: sudden OCD, rage episodes, anxiety, tics, food restriction.

This is the hallmark of PANS and PANDAS. And it is NOT a psychiatric disorder.

It’s an immune response. The infection triggers the immune system to produce antibodies that attack parts of the brain, specifically the basal ganglia.

When we treat the infection and reduce the inflammation, those children often come back.

Parents: if this sounds familiar, please don’t stop advocating. There ARE answers.

Tag a parent who needs to see this. 💚

Most people are taught that inflammation is bad: something to suppress and push through.

But inflammation is your immune system doing exactly what it was designed to do: respond to a threat.

The real question isn’t: how do I turn off the inflammation?

It’s: what is TRIGGERING the inflammation?

For many of my patients, the answer is a hidden infection, mold exposure, gut dysbiosis, or a toxic burden the body simply can’t clear on its own.

When we find the trigger and address it, that’s when the inflammation actually resolves.

Drop a 🔥 below if you’ve been told your inflammation is ‘just stress.’

I’ve never had two Lyme patients with the exact same case.

Same diagnosis, completely different presentation: different symptoms, different history, different immune response, different path to healing.

That’s not an accident. Lyme is a whole-body disease. It finds the weakest points in your system and settles in there.

So the treatment has to meet the person, not just the pathogen.

After 20+ years in practice, this is the thing I want every patient (and every provider) to understand. Your case is not the same as someone else’s.

And your protocol shouldn’t be either.

Save this if you’ve ever felt like your treatment was missing something. 🌿

If you’re a practitioner who’s ever felt stuck with a Lyme patient, this room was built for you.

Last year’s Lyme Bytes Symposium brought together some of the brightest minds in Lyme and vector-borne disease, and this year we’re doing it again. Bigger. Better. More of what you actually need to feel confident in your protocols.

We’re talking real cases, real speakers, real answers. The kind of education that changes how you practice.

Early bird pricing is live right now! And it won’t last long.

If you’re a practitioner and you’ve ever felt stuck with a Lyme patient… you’re not alone.

Most of us weren’t trained for this. Lyme doesn’t follow the rules. The testing is unreliable, the symptoms are everywhere, and the protocols you learned in school?

They weren’t built for this disease.

That’s exactly why I created the Lyme Bytes Symposium.
It’s a hybrid symposium designed specifically for practitioners who want to get confident (fast) with Lyme and vector-borne disease. Real protocols. Real cases. No fluff.

And right now, early bird pricing is open at a fixed low rate that won’t last long.

Your doctor might not know this yet, but you should. 👇

Lyme disease and vector-borne infections are being missed every single day. Not because doctors don’t care. But because the disease is genuinely hard to catch, and the tools we’ve been given to find it weren’t built for how complex it actually is.

Three reasons this is more widespread than most people realize, and what to do when the standard system fails you.

What if cancer isn’t random — but driven by hidden infections reshaping the body’s terrain?

In this episode of LymeBytes!, Dr. Michael Karlfeldt and I explore:
✔️ How stealth infections suppress immune surveillance
✔️ The inflammatory and angiogenic drivers of tumor growth
✔️ The “tumor as garbage dump” theory
✔️ Why shifting the biological terrain may be the missing piece

Healing doesn’t start with more treatments—it starts with removing what’s hurting you.

In this LymeBytes! conversation, Dr. Myriah Hinchey and Dr. Michael Karlfeldt highlight something many people overlook: before adding more supplements, protocols, or therapies… you have to reduce the daily exposures that are overwhelming your system.

That means looking at the foods you eat, the chemicals in your environment, the stress you consume, and even the relationships you allow into your life.

Because the body can only detox and heal when it’s no longer being constantly burdened.

When you shift the fundamentals—real food, reduced toxin exposure, proper sleep—you create the conditions where the immune system can actually do its job again.

Take it once in the morning. Sleep better that night. 🤯

That’s exactly what we’re talking about in this clip. And honestly, when I first heard this I had to ask twice to make sure I understood it right.

Chris Burres | My Vital C breaks down why something you take at the start of your day can have such a profound impact on sleep hours later. The answer comes down to mitochondria, and once you hear the explanation, it just makes sense.

2 million mitochondria in every single brain cell. When you support them at that level, the ripple effects are real: focus, energy, and yes, better sleep that night.

This is the kind of conversation I live for. Science that’s actually actionable.

I’ve been treating Lyme disease for 14 years. And this is just getting started. 🌿

I get asked a lot, why botanicals? Why LymeCore?

The honest answer is that I spent years in practice watching patients cycle through treatments that didn’t work. They were suffering. They deserved better. And the botanical medicines available just weren’t meeting the bar I needed as a clinician.

So I built them myself.

Every herb in every LymeCore product is sourced by me personally. If it doesn’t meet my standards, it doesn’t make the cut. Full stop.

After 14 years, 150+ practitioner partners, and thousands of patients, that commitment hasn’t changed once.

Whether you found us because you’re battling Lyme, supporting a patient, or just trying to understand what’s going on in your body, welcome. You’re in the right place.
