For more than 60 years, our mission has been to provide dignity, joy, safety, and connection for those who depend on us. Families count on us. Communities trust us. And when care has been at risk in Minnesota, we’ve stepped in to keep it local.

In a town like Hector, care close to home isn’t just important — it’s everything.

For generations, Prairie View has been a place where neighbors, grandparents, Veterans, farmers, and friends find comfort, dignity, and joy right here in our community.

As rural care becomes harder to sustain across Minnesota, our mission has never mattered more.
We’re proud to be part of the new St. Francis Legacy Foundation, working to protect care close to home for the next generation.

In towns all across Minnesota, one thing has always mattered most: taking care of our own.

For more than 60 years, our nonprofit care communities have been places where people find safety, joy, dignity, and connection — close to home and close to the people they love.

But here’s the reality we’re facing:
👉 Rural care is disappearing.
👉 Families are losing the option to keep parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends close.
👉 Many don’t realize how many small-town care centers have closed in the last few years.

A few weeks ago, we introduced our new foundation — built on the 60-year legacy of nonprofit, faith-based, compassionate care St. Francis Health Services has provided since 1963.
Our mission is simple:
💛 Protect care close to home
💛 Bring daily joy to seniors and adults with disabilities
💛 Ensure every Minnesota community has care for life

This work matters. And it only happens because of people like you — people who care deeply about their hometowns, their neighbors, and the generations who built our communities.
