Shared from my personal pager per request: “It’s crazy timing that I just referenced this time in my life yesterday during a conversation with my family. Even in the most difficult times of my career when I’ve felt like I was going to break, I try to always remember the oath I made when I started this journey in medicine 10 years ago now. I will never forget my values and my duty to patients. I am eternally grateful for the opportunities I have been led to, the mentors who have helped guide me along the way, the individuals who donated their bodies to teach me human anatomy, the strong colleagues and support staff who have worked alongside me to facilitate my growth as a physician and the delivery of care, all of those who have trusted me to take care of them (awake or under anesthesia), and also my friends and family who have been supportive and understanding of the sacrifices I’ve had to make in my personal life to do what I love - take great care of people. I am humbled and honored to have new opportunities on the horizon that will allow me to continue building upon my passion for my career and also simultaneously be present in the lives of my friends and family. Have a great weekend everyone!! “
