Congratulations to Dr McRee on receiving her Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine!

Lifestyle Medicine is an evidenced based specialty that uses therapeutic lifestyle interventions for the prevention, treatment and sometimes reversal of chronic diseases like Type 2 DM, cardiovascular disease and obesity. Patient’s are empowered to make lifestyle changes around six pillars which include, optimal nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, social connection and risky substances. The specialty works to get at the root cause of disease.

For the second year in a row, PureView partnered with@girlsthrivemt to host two infomational eventsfor girls at local schools.

Over 40 girls learned essential information about hygiene and menstrual health. The best part? They got hands-on experience by creating their very own custom hygiene and menstrual packs!

We believe in fueling confidence through knowledge and resources. Thank you to everyone who made this year's event a success!

December is Seasnal Affective Disorder (SAD) Awareness Month. SAD is a mental health condition that brings on significant mood changes in response to the colder, darker weather of the fall and winter months.

The symptoms look similar to depression:
-Sad, anxious, or empty feelings
-Feelings of hopelessness, guilt, worthlessness, or helplessness
-Loss of interest or pleasure in formerly enjoyable activities
-Fatigue and decreased energy
