Today, we proudly celebrate our physicians on National Doctors’ Day.

Your expertise heals. Your compassion comforts. And your dedication inspires every patient and team member you impact. Day in and day out, you go above and beyond—setting the standard for excellence in patient care and professionalism.

We are honored to recognize:
Madeline Turner, MD, Medical Director
Elizabeth Grant, MD
Heather McRee, DO
Will Snider, DO
Julian Thorne, MD
Chris Holdhusen, MD

You are the foundation of what we do, and we are truly grateful for the care and commitment you bring—not just today, but every single day.

Happy Doctors’ Day.

Fun fact: March 30th commemorates the first successful use of general anesthesia in surgery in 1842—marking a pivotal moment in the advancement of modern medicine.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and PureView wants to raise awareness and share information. Preventing colorectal cancer or finding it early is possible through regular screening. There are many test options, including simple, affordable tests. Talk to your doctor about the right option for you and about whether your health insurance covers tests.

For people at average risk, screening should begin at age 45. Family history and other conditions like Crohn’s disease can increase your risk and may require you to get screened sooner. If you experience any symptoms, it is important to get screened. Colorectal cancer often develops without symptoms.

When present, symptoms may include:
Blood in or on stool
Persistent unusual bowel movements like constipation or diarrhea
Stomach pain, aches, or cramps that don’t go away
Losing weight for no reason

To learn more or take an screening recommendation based on your risk factors, visit the Colorectal Cancer Alliance website.

60% of people with thyroid disease have no idea they have it.

January is Thyroid Awareness Month. At PureView, we’re stressing the importance of thyroid health because this small gland affects every single cell in your body.

With women being 5 to 8 times more likely to experience thyroid issues, and 1 in 8 women developing a disorder in her lifetime, staying proactive is key. While these are often life-long conditions, they are easily managed with professional medical care.

Is it time for your check-up?
