Our Thursday happy hours here at Touchmark are a weekly highlight! Today's "Rainbows & Sunshine" happy hour was filled with laughter, music, and colorful fun! Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying a lively performance from our special musical guests, Merry Melodies, who brought so much joy and energy to the afternoon. From great tunes to even better company, it was a beautiful reminder of how music brings people together and fills our community with happiness.

April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month—a time to recognize the millions of individuals and families navigating Parkinson’s disease and to highlight the importance of understanding, support, and compassionate care.

At Touchmark, we support those living with Parkinson’s through a variety of programs and services. Our communities offer Parkinson’s-focused exercise classes to support strength, balance, and mobility, along with support groups for individuals and their loved ones, social opportunities, and wellness resources. Touchmark team members also receive training to better understand Parkinson’s and its impact on daily life, helping ensure residents and families feel supported throughout the community experience.

Through education, thoughtful care, and a strong sense of community, we are committed to helping residents continue living full, engaged lives. This month—and every month—we stand with those affected by Parkinson’s and celebrate the resilience and determination they bring to our communities.

Today we were grateful to welcome nursing students from Helena College to Touchmark for our annual Senior Fitness Assessments.

These assessments play an important role in supporting resident wellness by helping us better understand strength, balance, and mobility, while also giving students valuable hands-on experience working with older adults. It’s a win for our residents and a meaningful learning opportunity for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Thank you to the Helena College nursing students and faculty for spending the day with us, and to our residents who participated and continue to invest in their health and well-being. We appreciate the strong community partnerships that help make moments like this possible.

We were honored to host Joe Weigand, nationally recognized as Theodore Roosevelt, for an unforgettable afternoon and a full house right here at Touchmark!

From powerful storytelling to laughs, history, and that unmistakable Roosevelt spirit, it was an experience our residents (and guests!) won’t soon forget.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a success. We love bringing meaningful events like this to our community!
