Pride 2026 Needs Volunteers, Help Us Make Hundreds of Flags Happen
Hundreds of Pride flags across Utah do not stake themselves. They require volunteers, people willing to show up, do the work, and build a visible community.
We need you.
What volunteers do
๐ณ๏ธโ๐ Flag Assembly, May 15, 3 to 5 pm
Assemble hundreds of Pride flags before distribution.
๐ Flag Distribution Support at Flag HQ, May 30 and 31
Help with setup, staging, and endโofโday teardown.
Shifts run between 9 and 4, but volunteers only sign up for a portion of that window, not the full day.
๐ Flag Route Delivery, May 30 and 31
Pick up a route between 10 and 3.
Each route takes about 90 minutes to two hours to complete.
Only one person needs to sign up per route, but we encourage bringing friends or family and making it a group outing.
๐ Flag Pickup, June 13 to 15
Retrieve flags after the campaign ends and complete the cycle.
Why volunteering matters
Pride 2026 covers the entire state, Salt Lake City, Cedar City, Ogden, Saint George, Provo, Logan, Moab, Park City, and rural counties.
Without volunteers, Pride does not reach rural communities.
Without volunteers, isolated LGBTQ+ people do not see flags in their neighborhoods.
Without volunteers, Pride stays small.
Volunteers make statewide visibility possible.
Who should volunteer
Anyone who can lift flags, drive routes, or help with logistics, LGBTQ+ people, allies, families, or anyone committed to making Utah visible.
No experience necessary, only a willingness to show up.
Volunteer deadline, May 28
Sign up by May 28 so we can coordinate teams, plan routes, and organize distribution across Utah.

Pride happens because people show up. Volunteers make Pride possible.
Show up for Pride 2026.
