If you're graduating: Registration closes April 17. This is your last chance to sign up.

If you want to volunteer: We still need 10 more volunteers for day-of support. Sign up by Sunday.

If you're attending: Doors open at 4:30 PM. Ceremony starts at 5:00 PM sharp. Come early to get a seat.

What to expect:
This is a full graduation ceremony. Graduates will process in wearing caps and gowns (we provide stoles). Each graduate will be individually recognized and walk across the stage. There will be speakers, music, and a reception afterward.

Free professional photography will be available for all graduates and their families.

Who should attend:
Graduates and their families (biological and chosen)
Friends supporting graduates
LGBTQ+ community members
Allies who want to celebrate q***r and trans resilience
Anyone who believes LGBTQ+ students deserve to be honored

This is an open, public event. Everyone is welcome.

Why this ceremony matters:
Because LGBTQ+ students deserve a graduation where they can show up as their full selves. Where their chosen names are called. Where their pronouns are respected. Where their partners can sit in the front row. Where their resilience is recognized.

That's what Lavender Graduation is.

Pride 2026 Needs Volunteers, Help Us Make Hundreds of Flags Happen
Hundreds of Pride flags across Utah do not stake themselves. They require volunteers, people willing to show up, do the work, and build a visible community.

We need you.

What volunteers do
๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Flag Assembly, May 15, 3 to 5 pm
Assemble hundreds of Pride flags before distribution.

๐Ÿšš Flag Distribution Support at Flag HQ, May 30 and 31
Help with setup, staging, and endโ€‘ofโ€‘day teardown.
Shifts run between 9 and 4, but volunteers only sign up for a portion of that window, not the full day.

๐Ÿ“ Flag Route Delivery, May 30 and 31
Pick up a route between 10 and 3.
Each route takes about 90 minutes to two hours to complete.
Only one person needs to sign up per route, but we encourage bringing friends or family and making it a group outing.

๐Ÿ”„ Flag Pickup, June 13 to 15
Retrieve flags after the campaign ends and complete the cycle.

Why volunteering matters
Pride 2026 covers the entire state, Salt Lake City, Cedar City, Ogden, Saint George, Provo, Logan, Moab, Park City, and rural counties.

Without volunteers, Pride does not reach rural communities.
Without volunteers, isolated LGBTQ+ people do not see flags in their neighborhoods.
Without volunteers, Pride stays small.

Volunteers make statewide visibility possible.

Who should volunteer
Anyone who can lift flags, drive routes, or help with logistics, LGBTQ+ people, allies, families, or anyone committed to making Utah visible.

No experience necessary, only a willingness to show up.

Volunteer deadline, May 28
Sign up by May 28 so we can coordinate teams, plan routes, and organize distribution across Utah.

Sign up to volunteer: https://bit.ly/PRUVolunteerPride

Pride happens because people show up. Volunteers make Pride possible.
Show up for Pride 2026.
