The Molecule Doula & Placenta Encapsulation Services I provide emotional&physical support,an objective viewpoint&assist women to make her own empowered d

DOULA SERVICES:
As a doula I provide emotional support, physical comfort measures, an objective viewpoint and assistance in getting the information from birth staff that mom needs to make empowered decisions throughout her pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Continuous support during labor is associated with improved maternal and fetal health and a variety of other benefits, including lower risk of induction and interventions and less need for pain relief medications. My personal goal as a Doula is to ensure women are empowered through their birth and to ensure she is treated with the upmost respect and compassion. I would like to see women receive evidence based care and be respected in their birth choices whether that's an unmedicated birth, a csection, a home birth, a birth center birth, a vbac, a repeat cesarean; EVERY women deserves RESPECT and EVIDENCE based care. PLACENTA ENCAPSULATION:
Placenta services I offer are encapsulation (TCM), cord keepsake, and maternal and fetal prints. Taking placenta pills are a great means of avoiding postpartum depression, increase milk supply, restores iron levels, and an increase in CRH (a stress reducing hormone)

Great visuals how your pelvic floor muscles and pelvis move and open when you bring your knees toward each other
*side note laying on your back is not necessarily optimal position and this technique can be used on hands and knees as well etc

True knots are common and usually pose no risk due to the magic powers of Whartons jelly! It keeps it nice and slippery so it can be moved up and down without any restriction! This placenta had 4! Baby must have really been swimming around in there πŸ€£πŸ˜²πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

My apologies for the lack in updates.
I had my 4th baby on fathers day πŸ₯°
I did not have any clients until august so far so that's when I will be returning to work for Placenta Encapsulation ONLY. I will not be taking Doula clients until 2021. If you have an EDD during my fourth trimester πŸ‘ΆπŸ’ž I'm still available by text and email for guidance, encouragement, birth plans, resources, and connecting you with other Doulas and placenta Encapsulators in your service area.
Thank you!!! Have a beautiful day πŸ’žπŸŒ»

Placenta play earlier this morning πŸ’ž
This client had a beautiful healthy placenta
In the last picture you can see me stripping the membranes off the placenta to better reveal the tree of life πŸ’œ
There are two layers of membranes in the amniotic sac: the thicker outer most layer is the chorion (seen pictured around the placenta), and the thinner yet sooooo surprising strong amnion (seen pictured being pulled back)
Prints were taken and the placenta will be steamed, dehydrated, ground, and encapsulated for the mothers benefit in full spectrum healing by replacing iron levels, restoring hormonal balance, and other essentials in immunity health like gammaglobulin (great for protection from postpartum infections) and immunoglobulin (antibodies)

These times can be very difficult. I understand we should all seek to do our best to flatten the curve but fear shouldnt guide us away from what evidence tells us. The physiological process of birth and breastfeeding -and the importance of the microbiome- rely on informed choices not led by fear.

Let's stop perpetuating this idea that mothers are suppose to "bounce back". Pegnancy and birth requires alot of change. I mean cmon! You just grew an entire new human being!
This is the maternal side of the placenta, the side that was ATTACHED to the mothers uterus. When it detaches it leaves a wound. A wound that needs to heal. This placenta is the size of the average paper plate. That's huge considering when you are not pregnant you could hold your entire uterus in your hand!! It takes at least a full 4-6weeks to heal. As your uterus contracts back down to prepregnancy size, the wound shrinks and continues to heal. Postpartum care is so important!! Please dont think you need to get back to everything right away. You're healing! Allow others to care for you, take it slow, hire a postpartum Doula, and dont be afraid to ask for help.
