Our Housekeeping Team is hard at work behind the scenes, continuing their commitment to excellence! 🧼✨

Last week, they completed specialized training on chemical safety—ensuring not only their own protection, but the safety of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Housekeeping is truly the first line of defense against infection, and their dedication does not go unnoticed. We are proud to continually invest in training and improvement to provide the safest, highest-quality care possible. 💙

A special thank you to Spartan Chemicals & Lindenmeyr Munroe for providing this valuable training to our staff.

Hospital Administrator, Kaylee McDaniel, was honored to participate in a roundtable discussion with Senator John Cornyn and Representative Nathaniel Moran addressing the complex challenges facing rural healthcare and the potential impact of funding through the Rural Health Transformation Program.

We are grateful for the opportunity to advocate not only for rural healthcare as a whole, but to ensure the specific needs of Sabine County are heard and represented.

Following the discussion, Brian Corley, CNO, and Kaylee McDaniel had the opportunity to further engage with Senator Cornyn and Representative Moran to continue the conversation on strengthening healthcare in our communities.

Here she is… she’s a beauty. 🤍

We’re proud to introduce our new CT machine—made possible through grant funding—bringing advanced imaging technology right here to our community. This investment means faster scans, clearer results, and an even higher standard of care for every patient we serve.

Our staff have enjoyed training on the new applications this week and look forward to the improvement in quality of care for every patient!

Sabine County Hospital’s Senior Life Solutions provides outpatient mental health services for older adults coping with depression, anxiety, grief, and life changes. If you or someone you love needs support this year, we are here to help.
