But I decided that my story was going to be testimony- not a tragedy.

Since this journey began- I’ve had the honor to speak with and guide so many other women through this journey. I’ve spoken for newspaper articles, spoken on podcasts, and now I’ve been invited to be a guest speaker in Washington, DC.

Men get Botox too! The jig is up! Its not a secret anymore. With advancements in hormone replacement therapy, herbs, and vitamins, men now want to look how they feel – 20 years younger! Botox is a neuromodulator which relaxes the muscles in the face to make forehead, eyebrow, and eye wrinkles disappear!
Although Botox is the most well-known neuromodulator, Dysport and Xeomin (and Jeuveau) all cause the same effect as well. My personal favorite is , because unlike Botox and Dysport, Xeomin doesn’t have any complexing proteins. Complexing proteins cause the development of antibodies over time, meaning- you guessed it- after using Botox or Dysport for a prolonged period of time, it 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒔 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈.

Ever since moving to Las Vegas, I keep hearing the same thing over and over again from my patients: “I can’t get in to see my primary care provider!” When I opened Lightning Medical, I thought most of patient base would be those without insurance. It turns out- 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 of my patients already have insurance but because of long wait times at their regular P*P, they opt to come to my clinic and pay out of pocket instead.

Hi! My name is Alexandria Lightning, owner and operator of Lightning Medical. I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and a graduate of Purdue University. I decided to open Lightning Medical in order to scratch the itch of my many passions: Primary Care, Serving the Underserved, and Aesthetics.👄💉
I’m originally from Fort Wayne, IN but moved to the west coast nearly 3½ years ago, to sunny California. I practiced there for nearly two years, working in primary care at a federally qualified health center (FQHC) before making the move to Las Vegas. I worked as a floor nurse and as a sole nighttime urgent care provider as well during that time (hey- LA is EXPENSIVE!😩)
Prior to moving to Vegas, I went NYC for 2 months to help with the COVID19 pandemic. I lived in a hotel and worked 12 – 14 hour shifts every day for weeks straight on a COVID ICU Unit in the South Bronx. I figured- if I could handle this, I could handle anything! So while there, I began planning the opening of my clinic, Lightning Medical. And well… here I am today!
Lightning Medical started as telehealth services only, but quickly expanded to a brick & mortar convenience care, then aesthetics, and now primary care. My goal is to offer quick, timely, personable care. At Lightning Med, you’re family.💕

This client already had beautiful, full, shapely lips... but she wanted them BIGGER. She stated that her lips are slightly swollen in the morning when she wakes up, but they go down during the day. She wanted to keep the swollen look all day, so we added a syringe of filler to the lips to give them more volume. She absolutely LOVES THEM 😍😍😍
