“Unexplained” doesn’t always mean there isn’t a cause.

In this clip, a physician explains how markers like BCL6 can provide additional insight when standard evaluations don’t fully explain what a patient is experiencing.

Rather than relying on symptoms or imaging alone, tools like ReceptivaDx are used to better understand whether underlying inflammation may be present.

This isn’t about replacing clinical judgment —
it’s about adding another layer of information to help guide decisions.

Because for many patients, the next step becomes clearer when more of the full picture is understood.

There may be more to uncover.

March started the conversation around endometriosis.
April is about what comes next.

For so many women, awareness brings relief — finally having language for what they’ve been experiencing.

But after that first moment of recognition, the next question is often:

Now what?

For some, symptoms continue without clear answers.
For others, imaging appears normal, yet pain, inflammation, or fertility concerns remain.

That uncertainty can feel overwhelming.

The next step isn’t panic.
The next step is asking better questions.

Could there be underlying inflammation?
Could silent endometriosis be part of the picture?
Is there more to understand before moving forward with care?

Clarity starts with the right conversation.

This month, we’re focused on helping patients move from awareness to informed next steps — with education that supports clearer decisions and better discussions with providers.

Follow along this April as we continue the conversation beyond awareness month.

If you’ve been told to wait it out — that advice may be appropriate in some cases.
But waiting without understanding can feel isolating.
Endometriosis is complex. It doesn’t always show up clearly on imaging. It doesn’t always cause severe pain. It doesn’t follow a predictable script.
Advocating for yourself doesn’t mean distrusting your provider. It means participating in your care.
If something feels unresolved — it’s okay to ask another question. It’s okay to seek more clarity. It’s okay to request a deeper conversation.
Investigation is not dramatic.
It’s informed.
