Henderson Hospital now offers Y-90 Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT) for the treatment of liver cancer. This advanced, minimally invasive therapy delivers targeted radiation through the hepatic artery, sparing surrounding healthy tissue and reducing systemic side effects.

Y-90 SIRT is an important option for patients with unresectable primary or metastatic liver cancer, and it can be used in conjunction with systemic therapies or as a bridge to transplantation. Our interventional radiology team is working closely with referring oncologists to provide this treatment at Henderson Hospital, expanding the therapeutic choices available.
