Henderson Hospital is proud to welcome Dr. Gabriela Doyle, new to the Comprehensive Cancer Centers breast surgery team. Dr. Doyle is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist dedicated to providing individualized, compassionate breast care.

Dr. Doyle earned both her medical degree and Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Reno. She completed her general surgery internship and residency at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, and went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology at Columbia University.

Meet Dr. Diana Hung, DO, Fellowship-Trained Breast Surgical Oncologist

Henderson Hospital is proud to welcome Dr. Diana Hung, new to the Comprehensive Cancer Centers breast surgery team! Dr. Hung is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist dedicated to providing accessible, personalized, and compassionate breast care.

She completed her medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences, her general surgery residency at Sunrise Health GME Consortium in Las Vegas, and a breast surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Known for her patient-centered approach, Dr. Hung is committed to delivering evidence-based care guided by the latest research.

Meet Maria Gorospe, today's feature of our Nurse Day Thursday series. Maria started as a Float Pool CNA back in 2020 and later transferred to the Emergency Department as a Nursing Apprentice while finishing her BSN. She then became a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, followed by training as a triage nurse, a preceptor and currently a full-time clinical supervisor.

Maria says she likes how Henderson Hospital supports growth within each individual who works for the organization. She likes having leaders who support their team and their career choices. Maria says that Nursing is truly a calling because you are taking care of people's lives, health and safety.

As a nurse, she strives to grow every day, learn something new and make a difference in the lives of patients and her coworkers by providing excellent care and supporting teamwork.

Recently, our own Quality Director, Dr. Krystal Coffman, was a speaker at the annual meeting for the National Association of Transplant Coordinators in Dallas, Texas. She spoke on the topic of Cultivating Donation Champions in Non-Transplant Hospitals and highlighted the work that she, and the Valley Health System Donor Council has done to improve donation in Las Vegas across our facilities. Her session was well received, and we are pleased that Krystal was able to share the successes of Henderson Hospital, and VHS, on the national stage.
