It’s been a minute since my last video…I’ve been recovering from a bad fall to my face and reverse right shoulder total replacement surgery.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to help me through my healing journey with prayer, meals, home visits, drives to doctors appointments and always checking in on me!

My healing has been the result of wonderful people in my life who have helped me during the past three months… My husband, who has been my rock and helped me nonstop as a great caretaker, my friend Lisa Schaffer and her husband who drove my car home for me after my fall…and to my wonderful friends and neighbors who stayed by my side while my husband was traveling home from work…and helped with taking care of our German Shepherd Luna and making dinners for us.

Being on the other side of the healing journey allowed me to use the wellness tools I share with my own clients when it comes to healing from a traumatic event.

Every morning, I would do self Reiki, meditate and say my mantra: “every day, in every way, I’m getting better and better and better”, prayer and reading scripture… Sitting in the sunshine and staying hydrated and REALLY leaning in and listening to my body to not overextend myself was so important during my recovery.

Now that I’m back at Optima Wellness Center, I added a couple changes…. I’ve added an infrared Biomat filled with amethyst and clear quartz crystals to the Reiki table. This technology helps, improve circulation, release pain and heats the body from the inside out…while activating the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce the trauma responses. My clients love that they say it feels like a nice big, warm hug.🤗🥰

And of course, all clients receive coffee, tea, water, or chocolates after their sessions..

Also, our Neuro Therapy program is really starting to takeoff…We still have room available for our new clients who need to work through brain fog, anxiety, headaches, TBI, addictions of all kinds, PTSD, and ruminating thoughts and behavioral concerns.
